  1. The headline of the article says "Woodruff feeling healthy". It goes on to say: He hasn't experienced a setback of any kind. All they are saying is he may not start the game on March 26th.
  2. I'm very interested to see if his velocity comes back this spring.
  3. Ya can't keep everyone.
  4. Wonder if someone will put out a new graphic for 2026? From 2010:
  5. Yeah grass is greener and whatnot but I'm ok moving on.
  6. I caught F1 over the weekend. Seeing as it was a Jerry Bruckheimer flick, I was expecting formulaic fun and it didn't disappoint. Great action sequences, Brad Pitt being the coolest guy on the planet, and a contrived love story that didn't need to be there. All in all I enjoyed it.
  7. I thought Joel Edgerton would be nominated for Train Dreams. He earned it.
  8. He hurt his wrist in 2024. Might have not fully recovered last year
  9. Can cross this one off the list. It was fantastic. They close up shop in April and only do catering and their food truck all summer. Hopefully, I can get back one more time before then.
  10. From the game recap:
  11. Feels like the Brewers are setting themselves up for two or three years down the road. As Arnold mentioned, they have a ton of really good infield prospects in the minors. Something has to give. The elephant in the room is the potential/likely lockout after this season. I'd be shocked if the braintrust wasn't making moves with that in mind.
  12. There was a foul call on Winter near the end of regulation that looked like a block to me. The guy who called it was behind Winter and 15 feet away. Zero chance he actually saw contact. He guessed.
  13. It's home cookin'. My theory is the Refs subconsciously want to please the crowd.
  14. refs making sure they insert themselves into the end here
  15. hey we started last years off season thread in January! 😂
  16. Packers hired Christian Watson's college receiving coach: https://atozsports.com/nfl/green-bay-packers-news/packers-noah-pauley-wrs-coach-staff-christian-watson/ Noah Pauley spent the past three seasons as the wide receivers coach at Iowa State — in 2024, he was named the WRs coach of the year by FootballScoop.com. In the last two years, he was also a passing game coordinator.
  17. Seems like a lot of off-season stuff is going in the 2025 in-season thread.
  18. I caught Train Dreams on Netflix last night and loved it. It's about a guy living his life in rural Idaho right around World War I and all the joy, struggles, and heartache that entails. It reminded me of A River Runs Through It. It's certainly not for everyone as it's not plot-driven and there isn't a ton of action but the cinematography is gorgeous and Joel Edgerton is fantastic.
  19. The Rise and Fall of Reggie Dinkins on NBC is pretty funny. It's a midseason replacement, and they've only aired the pilot. It starts up again in March. The showrunner was a writer on 30 Rock, and it definitely has the same vibe.
  20. I finally caught Sinners on HBO. I respect when filmmakers bend genres and take risks, and this certainly fits both of those bills. I wish I had seen it in the theaters. Some of the shots would have really been neat to see on the big screen. I thought it was too dialogue-heavy, which is my big complaint about a lot of movies these days (Matt Damon lifting the veil on a potential reason why), and had kind of a choppy edit. I enjoyed the music and the visuals and the themes but I don't think this movie was any kind of game-changer or anything.
  21. Bucks must be in tank mode. No way any respectable team would keep Doc on at this point.
  22. this is just an FYI
