  1. God I love that the Brewers broke their streak. Looking forward to beating them again in the playoffs.
  2. A poster in the minor league forum guessed it would be first week of June
  3. I believe it was @wiguy94 who suggested waiting until Super 2 cutoff to promote Jett. I don't know what that day is. Does anyone?
  4. I don't know. He was doing it last year too. Maybe he's doing it more this year? Again, hard to say.
  5. He has a .233 average on balls in play. Last year it was .313. He's had some bad luck that will even out. Per your comment above, his bat speed is identical to last year so he's not swinging harder. He ha da nice double today. Hopefully that is the start of a hot stretch.
  6. The Cubs don't scare me. Brewers are in their heads.
  7. Reminds me of MLF not challenging things before half time.
  8. Jett's OPS now north of 800. I am guessing the Brewers will have a new third baseman soon.
  9. And if we make it 100 PA minimum, we see a familiar name: Name Team HR% BB% K% 3TO Munetaka Murakami CHW 7.9% 18.4% 33.7% 60.0% Kyle Schwarber PHI 9.9% 14.8% 31.5% 56.2% James Wood WSN 5.7% 17.5% 31.8% 55.0% Nick Kurtz ATH 4.0% 20.2% 29.8% 54.0% Aaron Judge NYY 8.0% 17.1% 28.1% 53.3% Garrett Mitchell MIL 0.7% 15.4% 37.1% 53.1% Ian Happ CHC 5.2% 17.5% 30.4% 53.1% Mike Trout LAA 5.5% 20.1% 26.1% 51.8% Rhys Hoskins CLE 3.1% 21.3% 26.8% 51.2% Yoán Moncada LAA 2.4% 13.0% 35.0% 50.4%
  10. Good call. Here are this year's leaders (min 150 PAs) Name Team HR% BB% K% 3TO Munetaka Murakami CHW 7.9% 18.4% 33.7% 60.0% Kyle Schwarber PHI 9.9% 14.8% 31.5% 56.2% James Wood WSN 5.7% 17.5% 31.8% 55.0% Nick Kurtz ATH 4.0% 20.2% 29.8% 54.0% Aaron Judge NYY 8.0% 17.1% 28.1% 53.3% Ian Happ CHC 5.2% 17.5% 30.4% 53.1% Mike Trout LAA 5.5% 20.1% 26.1% 51.8%
  11. Sanchez isn't actually striking out all that much this year. But there's plenty of season left! Interestingly, he is walking way more than he has in any season of his career (18.3%). His highest walk rate before this season was 12.3% way back in 2018.
  12. I'm sure someone can find a more recent example, but in 2012, here were Adam Dunn's numbers (w Schwarber's in parentheses): HR% - 6.3 (9.9) BB% - 16.2 (14.8) SO% - 34.2 (31.5) 3TO% - 56.7 (56.2) Russell Branyan's "magical" 2005 season for the Brewers resulted in a 3TO% of 54.1
  13. along with 110 BBs and 235 Ks. 3TO is back, baby!
  14. Having more games on TV on more days of the week is fine. Having games on multiple streaming services you have to buy in order to watch said games is dumb.
  15. it was probably due for a correction anyway after the last couple of weeks.
  16. We're enjoying Widow's Bay on Apple. Horror/Comedy from one of the Parks and Rec writers.
  17. Adamalphabet is just relentless. I am looking forward to a few promotions in the coming weeks.

  19. Yeah it'd be just like the current regime to want "veteran, playoff-ready talent" in return.
  20. Curt Hogg called it last year before he really took off. Paraphrasing but he said something to the effect of "The biggest show during BP is not who you'd expect. It's Brice Turang"
  21. Gonna be so funny when the Crew passes the Cubs in the standings.
