  1. Whenever they cut ties w Gute I hope they go this route. Moneyball, baby.
  2. But the reason they had to sign Hobbs and Banks is that the guys Gute drafted/acquired weren't good enough to play. Two things can be true at once: Gute hasn't done a good enough job with the backups/back half of the roster and MLF has not figured out how to game manage.
  3. Grass is always greener. It seems like Gute is getting a pass for signing turds like Hobbs and Banks. Is it MLF's fault he had to start Rasheed Walker? I don't know enough about coaching offensive linemen or cornerbacks to know if it's personnel or coaching.
  4. Mike McDaniel is getting 3 interviews this week and he is 0 -2 in the playoffs.
  5. All of that can be true, and he can still be respected enough around the league to get another immediate opportunity if Green Bay decides to move on.
  6. yeah no kidding hed have to get fired. we're talking hypotheticals.
  7. He's built good offenses with two different QBs. Hiring LaFleur and signing Malik Willis might not be a bad way to go for a team.
  8. Josh Allen is a first ballot HOFer and an absolute freak athlete. He is one of a handful of players who can single handedly win games. He covers up a lot of mismanagement.
  9. Man I dunno about Saleh. Jets seemed like an absolute dumpster fire but a lot of that could have been Rodgers and being forced to hire Hackett.
  10. Was reading something today that young players were not really connecting with Harbaugh. I usually loathe defensive minded coaches but given GBs history there, I'm ok with it this time around. Why not? Don't want Harbaugh, though. I'd be ok with Flores or Minter.
  11. Have you ever had Maria's? It's on 50th and Forest Home. FYI here is the pizza specific thread:
  12. IMO, if you're gonna get rid of MLF you should just get rid of Gute too.
  13. I didn't think they were going to win going in but the manner in which they lost is going to bother me
  14. I take solace in the fact that Williams has a touch of Rodgers in him meaning he is all smiles and giggles when things are going well but he looks like he blames everyone else when things are going poorly. I look forward to his eventual schism with Bears receivers.
  15. I really hate replaying these games in my head. When do pitchers and catchers report for God's sake???
  16. Two things that really irked me were the delay of game coming out of a timeout and the timeout by the frigging defense on the Bears' last drive. The first issue might have been Love's fault but the second was on the coaching staff for sure.
  17. I guess it depends on if Policy thinks this one game is representative of something larger. I'm in the minority, I'm sure, but I think this one is on Gute. That offensive line was pathetic without Tom.
  18. If they keep LaFleur, which all signs say they will, then do the following: - fire Bisaccia - get a new kicker - improve O Line depth. Paper-thin if Tom is out. At a minimum, that's what should happen. They also need corners, an edge rusher, and maybe an RB in the draft.
