    I love the fact that teams are going for it on 4th down so much more often. Regardless of what you think of the analytics it is way more exciting than a field goal attempt.

    I agree but lets be fair they lost their qb, top 2 rbs, top 2 wrs, and their all pro TE was out for a while and his backup got hurt. On defense they two great defensive lineman and have two others hurt. One of their top cbs is also hurt. I dont know a single team that could not be seriously affected. I actually think how competitive their team has been is a testament to why people said this team is set up to dominate for 4-6 years. Imagine what the Packers would look like with similar injuries. Well we have lost our best defender, our best inside linebacker, #2 receiver, a starting offensive lineman, and now 2 games of our top receiver. I wouldn't say we've gotten off easy. I think it shows how important qb is. Rodgers can make his teammates look good. Garropolo might be able to but his backups sure can't.

    Watching this Bears Colts game and wow is Phillip Rivers old and bad. They have a great D though....or maybe the Bears O just stinks. Hard to say.

    Apparently Coan was hurt at practice. Out indefinitely.

    Yeah I have Hill. I'm waiting it out until the last minute. Looks like they'll play on Mon or Tuesday but no confirmation yet.

    FB for the Saints tested positive after they landed in Detroit. Just the one guy so far....might be false positive.

    No chance. Remember how much of a pain in the butt it was rescheduling the Super Bowl after 9/11? I'm sure Tampa Stadium doesn't have a scheduling conflift but it would still be a logistical nightmare. I guess the logistics would depend on what they allow in terms of fans or halftime show. If this sort of thing happens after all the bye weeks are done I'm not sure what other options there will be. And we literally just moved an entire league inside a bubble in Orlando. I think they'll figure out the logistics.

    Knock of two weeks of preseason games? I’d be fine with that. One downside would be less game tape evaluations of players that are trying to make the roster. Maybe teams would do a closed scrimmage against other teams for that? Outside the box thinking would be to add some time to one of the preseason games to get some more film but I don’t think that would fly. I'm talking about this year if the Titans situation gets out of control.

    bunting for a hit against the shift is one thing and I can get on board with that. bunting to move a runner to second is another thing and I am not on board with that.
