I have no idea what scholarship situations are at these places but based on his recruitment I'd guess Marquette or Iowa St.

Packers beat Super Bowl champs! #consolationprize

Sherman just got burned. I imagine he won't discuss that in the post game.
  4. homer
Yeah Breeland doesn't bother me as much as Pennel. I have no idea why he was let go.

Hedstrom is hurt. Out for the year.
  6. homer
Agreed. The uniqueness of how it was shot was really fun for me. Roger Deakins should pretty much win the Oscar every year.

I was thinking this too watching how dominant they were in the first half. Maybe he was more of a distraction to the team and causing some issues within the clubhouse. It’ll be interesting to see how they play the next couple weeks. Could be pretty telling. They were also missing Davidson....just sayin'.

Davis twins have already signed letter of intent. I don't know what happens to your eligibility once you do that. I think you're treated like a regular athlete and have to sit out a year unless the team releases you from your commitment. Anyone know?

Yeah it wasn't so long ago that Miller was a huge part of the culture in Milwaukee. Either you knew someone that worked there or you knew someone that knew someone. They were a huge employer and part of the identity of the city.

He may not have that person in his life.
  11. homer
That doesn't really bother me at all.

Pretty sure Showalter said something when Herro decommitted so that probably has something to do with it.

Must not look at your own posts then. It was a joke. See my follow up post.

The thing is, Showalter literally said that some people play for the name on the front of the jersey, not just the name on the back. Herro seemed to take exception to that, but offered "making the right decision for himself" as his point, when that literally cements Schowalter's point. Also, I've heard the 'Gard yelled at him' thing as well. If Greg Gard is King's vision of a 'hard-on-you' coach, I'd imaging he's going to struggle to find a good fit in D1, and probably lasted far longer than he ever would have under Bo Ryan. Yeah that was hilarious. Herro was basically reiterating exactly what Showalter stated.

    I don't see any overreactions.
  16. homer
Potrykus tweeted that King didn't leave because of the offensive style. More to it but he can't divulge.
  17. homer
    King committed to Bo.

    So the Bucks...
  19. homer
It's strange because he waited until 2nd semester. Now he can't get that half a year back. At least that's how I understand it
  20. homer
Strange timing. Doesn't he know the transfer rules?
  21. homer
I said that, but isn't traditionally the issue with him and younger pitchers? I dunno. It might be myth more than anything.
  22. homer
    Verlander for 400 IP!
  23. homer
I don't think Giannis is going anywhere.
  24. homer
    .500 record is clinched!
  25. homer
Yeah it can linger. You can play but it can still affect you for a while. I don't know if the hand matters (as it pertains to which side of the plate you bat from).
