Efficient Chase is the best Chase.

agreed

At the end of the day, the Brewers have 1 run and Chacin had a quality start. Gotta hit.
-
His stats say overall he can...lately, brutal. Yeah last three have been pretty bad. I'd give him a bit more slack if he was giving up grounders that found holes but the contact has been pretty good.
-
Or earlier if they want him for the playoffs
-
Now we are 9 outs from a loss AND you don’t get pizza, ouch. I was eating the pizza regardless of what happened.
-
They really need to call up QTC from Colo Springs. Can't be worse than Jennings.
-
If he gives up a dinger on pitch #1 I'm going to eat a pizza.
-
Does Pizza Pit in Madison still exist? Edit: Yes it does. Many locations.
-
I'm bored waiting for a pizza to be delivered so I thought I'd look those two up.

Yelich since beginning of July (not including tonight): .342/.389/.617
-
Chacin's last 20 starts plus tonight: 122.1 IP 3.24 ERA 108Ks

Be nice to get Taillon out of the game after 5 IP

Even though the Brewers say Peralta has no innings ceiling, I wonder if they might pare back his innings by employing some kind of Tampa Rays model where he starts, goes three innings, then someone like Burnes comes in for three innings. It's worked pretty well for the Rays this year. https://www.si.com/mlb/2018/08/23/tampa-bay-rays-bullpen It's kind of an interesting approach for teams that lack starting rotation depth. Of course one could say the Brewers pen is not best suited to this sort of thing but I thought it'd be a fun topic to discuss.

Saw a Nyjer Morgan highlight and thought of how much I would have hated him had he played for Cubs or Cardinals...or anyone really. Nyjer Morgan Sam Cassell Frank Kaminsky Ben Brust I'm sure there are others that I'm not thinking of right now.

Just a quick reminder that "I told you so" posts or posts dredging up a failed prediction can be just as intolerable as the Debbie Downer posts. Try to avoid them. Thanks!
