All kidding aside, there's a difference between a negative/critical post and a series of sky is falling diatribes because the Brewers committed an error or gave up a run.
-
Can I quote you on that? Wait, I just did. That's 1.
-
If you want to vent go ahead and vent. Just don't post the same vent 10 times in the same IGT.
-
Both him and Pina have been relatively hot lately at the plate. You're right. Kratz was at .226 on Aug 10th.
-
I can't believe Kratz is hitting .252. If I had to guess I would have thought like .225

The in-game threads have always and will always be a little different. People get emotional during the games and let that get the best of them when posting.
-
I love the optimism thread, if only as an escape from the sourness. I remember at some point there being a "Pessimism Thread". Perhaps that might be a chance for the Debbie Downers to still get the negative things off their chest, without dragging down every other thread. There definitely was a "vent thread" at one point in time.

During Counsell's pre-game interview the other day he said it's a mechanical thing that he has been unable to rectify during games. Basically said they know what it is but he can't quite fix it yet.

Christian Yelich - professional hitter
-
that made me laugh

Going with Jeffress.... If Scooter hits one out now, will people wonder why Jennings wasn't brought in?
-
...and if it's Scooter.... that would suck.
-
...and if it's Scooter....

If the Reds hit a dinger here....

Seems to be working now. Really weird.
-
For some reason I can't get the organizational scoreboard to work for the Brewers but it works for every other team. Weird.

And that is why Keon Broxton is a AAAA player.

They do if you have a memory. Like no one in Wisconsin remembered losing to Eli and the Giants twice in the playoffs the year before last? Most of us connect what has transpired in the past to the current. Call it what you will it's only natural. I am older than you. I remember things from long ago but I also know there is no connection. But all that suffering will make a WS win all the sweeter.

The point is why even bother being a fan and come post on a fan site if you are going to spout whining and negativity? I came on tonight in a positive mood and they completely screwed up as usual. Why live in a dreamland where this team can be successful against every bit of reality? I guess it comes down to whether you live your life on blind hope or whether you recognize trends and give up... some of us have just followed this team for 28+ years and can't turn back. Maybe I should let my boys become Dodgers fans and spare them Oh come on....the failures of 10 or 20 years ago have literally nothing to do with what is happening today.

People venting in the In Game Thread is a time honored tradition. A lot of people avoid them just because of that.
-
And sometimes Corey Knebel just stinks....
