  1. OK, I can accept that more than the waste of bandwidth argument.
  2. Well you can see every player's inidivdual stats on pretty much every major site too. At the very least, I would think it could be on the home page - replave the birthday thing with standings.
  3. That's a great Cain article. Nice to see he specifically mentioned that he needs more patience at the plate and hitting for more power - the two things that really jump out on the stats page. He's rapidly becoming one of my favorite prospects.
  4. Is there an easy place to see the MLB standings on this site? I know Mass posts the minor league standings in each link report (which is great), but it would be nice to have a spot where we can check the Brewers place in the Central/Wild Card on a daily basis. Maybe we could have an Organizational Standings page where we could see every team in the system on one screen. Just an idea.
  5. Just an FYI.... Colorado is not the home run hitting Utopia it used to be. They've been putting the balls in a humidor which tends to dampen the effect of the high altitude. The are 9th in HR when looking at Park Factor. Maybe a stat head can expand on that. Park Factors 2006
  6. Hurricane is up to .334 after 2/3 in the first game and now 1/1 in the second. He is on a real roll lately.
  7. That's a heckuva line for Hammond. He's had a great year thusfar. Combining his BC and H-Ville numbers he's at 2.12 ERA, 1.02 WhiP, and 2.94 K:BB and around 7 K's per 9IP. At 24 years old, is it likely he sees time in Nashville this year? If so, is he someone that might have a spot in the Milwaukee pen as early as next year?
  8. Heck, the way things are going with the parent club, and given his fastball, maybe Dennis will be the closer by the end of the year.
  9. Sarfate is currently pitching for Nashville against Omaha, Pascual for the AZ Brewers. Check out one of the old link reports for audio on Nashville. Here's a link to the updated box scores: Nashville: www.minorleaguebaseball.c...a_omaaaa_1 Arizona -- Pascual struck out two in the opening inning; Brewers up 6-0 early... www.minorleaguebaseball.c...k_royrok_1
  10. 18 year old Luis Ramirez continues to put up good numbers for the baby Brewers. Anybody got the skinny on this kid?
  11. I agree. Haven't the Brewers traditionally made several moves in August for stretch runs?
  12. Rob, Check the Draft Forum. There's tons of info on Jeffress there. Also, great to see Sarfate keep his walks down. He's got electric stuff....it'd be a shame to see him put it all together for another organization.
  13. I wonder if those wild pitches were curve balls that the catcher just didn't block. He throws a lot of those in the dirt.
  14. So anybody else think Inman is getting a promotion sooner than later?
  15. OK, Vlad just hit a ball at his eyeballs for an opposite field dinger. Wow.
  16. Hernan has little to no power. He's a singles machine with speed. He may develop power at some point I suppose. Anybody know how his D is? I would say at this point he projects offensively as one of those no power, high average middle infielder guys like Neifi Perez (when he was on Colorado) or maybe Omar Vizquel since he can steal bases. EDIT: And before someone chastises me for predicting Hernan will have a 19 year career, I'm just showing what type of player I think he projects to be, not the career he will have.
  17. Well Wally you weren't looking before his last two starts because he was lights out.....granted it was only about 20 innings worth of work, but enough to get people semi-excited again. Having said that, I guess we can say those 20 innings were not the proof we needed that he was going to turn a corner this year.
  18. If T Bow walks the first guy, I will puke.
  19. Wow, nifty play by Hall! Does Koskie get an assist there?
  20. Yeah, I think we can understand why some of us weren't going to get all giggly over 20 innings.
  21. I'm drunk and Don has never kissed a girl. God Bless and good luck to all of you.
  22. Mass, When does the AZ league start?
  23. I agree Colby, I would think there are others more 'deserving' of a promotion than Braun, but as we've seen what's 'deserved' and what happens are not always the same - especially concerning the bonus babies. Braun didn't sign a major league deal did he?
  24. Pogo, How do you know it's Yo? (hey, that rhymed). Either way, we expect a detailed scouting report from you!!!
  25. Oh crap. You're right on Kazmir. Stupid expansion teams!!! But getting back to lefty/righty.....would Garner pick an all right handed pitching staff? Other than Glavine and Cappy, the only other guy worth taking is Wagner.
