  1. This series worries me because I remember all the times the Brewers would get hot in front of less than stellar crowds, then blow it when 30K showed up. Now that the Bucks are done, Packer mini camp is over, and tickets are half price, I think we're gonna have some decent crowds this weekend.
  2. I think they should have a decent turnout this weekend. Every ticket under $20 is half price and hot dogs are a buck. Combine that with the exciting Reds series and we should have some decent numbers. EDIT: Corrected ticket info.
  3. Great call on the suicide squeeze. Say what you will about Yost, but that was the absolute right call with one out.
  4. Isn't Hall batting something like .500 against the Reds lifetime? What a joke.
  5. This series: Sexson .091 avg 5 runs 0 RBI Overbay .700 avg 2 runs 6 RBI Trade looks ok for this week anyway.
  6. I don't think he would have turned two.....grounder was pretty slow.
  7. Yeah, that hit by Overbay to drive in Jenkins was great.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif I'm willing to forgive that error since he has three RBI today.
  8. Well good thing I jinxed Obermueller. I take full responsibility.
  9. Man, Arizona's defense has been terrible this series.
  10. Obermueller has been doing really well today. 68 pitches through 5. Only three hits, one walk.
  11. Wow. Who called the ejection? You have ESP.
  12. Ryan Miller Stirkeout King! He had 5 in 2 innings. That makes 20K's in 12 innings of work.
  13. I figured he was headed for utilitarianism, but it took me five minutes to try and pronounce the term he ended up at. ut-li-tan-ee-un-iss-tic
  14. I used to live in Phoenix and one of the DJ's would always play Bob Marley at 4:20pm. He never explicitly said why but everyone knew what he was doing.
  15. If Krynzel can't walk to compensate for the strikeouts then it becomes an issue. For a guy with speed and not a lot of pop I think making contact and getting on base is a pretty big deal. He's just OK at doing that. If he cuts down on the K's he'll be that much better.
  16. Not to rain on your parade, Clancy, but he did K twice as well. Are we sure his name isn't spelled KKKKKrynzel? And he only took two pitches before being put on. I'm still baffled as to why he was intentionally walked with two outs.
  17. I should mention that the Braves threw two legitimate pitches to Krynzel before intentionally missing with the last two. It sounded as if they wanted him to go fishing and when that didn't happen on 1-0 and 2-0, they gave him the free pass.
  18. Hardy gets a single to left scoring the winning run from 2nd base. Indians win 7-6 and JJ goes to Broad Ripple to pick up chicks. Hit was a looping liner to left that the outfielder dove for and missed.
  19. They are intentionally walking Dave to pitch to JJ....odd strategy but Krynzel has been hitting the ball well of late. I think they want rightie vs. rightie matchup. Men on 1st and 2nd, two down, bottom of the ninth. Hardy at the plate.
  20. Figeroa (sp?) batting for J Childers K's. looking. Two outs. Krynzel is up. He is 1 for 3 on the day (single).
  21. I guess I should have said Bottom of the ninth.... Anyway, Mark Johnson leads off with a bloop single. Man on first with no outs. Sacrifice is successful, Johnson moves to 2nd with one out.
  22. Apparently, Hart has K'd three times. He just popped up to end the 8th. We head to the ninth tied at 6. EDIT: Hit and run turns into a double play for the Braves as Corey Hart makes a nice catch and throw to first. End of the ninth coming up.
  23. edit 6 - 5 Braves take the lead. Liefer goes deep again! All tied up at 6 in the bottom of the 8th.
  24. He's had one good start (win), one great start (loss) and one simply awful start (loss). All in all I wouldn't say he's been awful, but OK.
