  1. Uh, don't you mean Indy? H-Ville has off tonight.
  2. Radio said back stiffness.
  3. What is so important about avoiding the sweep? If they'd have won the other day by walking Bonds, would the NOT have walked him today?
  4. Anybody have an idea how hard Obie is throwing? EDIT: crap, walk and cheap blooper I really hope Obie's on a 80 pitch limit. I don't like taking him out of the game with two down.
  5. I like 9 pitch innings. Keep it up, Wes.
  6. Leadoff walk....now don't go getting picked off.
  7. Well Yost was a catcher so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on this one.
  8. I lived in Scottsdale for four years. Let me know if you need any help getting acclimated.
  9. I still find it humorous (and almost bordelrine disturbing) that Rob Deer is the batting coach. This is a man who turned the K into an artform and also the man who, after being traded to the Tigers (or was he released?), said, "I didn't like the approach in Milwaukee. All they wanted was for us to hit singles. Too much punch and judy".....or something to that effect.
  10. God what a boring game. At least I was able to score good tix.....second row behind home. Sheets really likes to hang that curve when he's ahead in the count. Matheny was just sitting on that pitch.
  11. Didn't Hall play CF more thatn SS at Indy this year? Of all the weird things people say about who should play where this one isn't completely far fetched. But........if he moves to the outfield, does that mean we bring back Clayton to play SS? No thanks.
  12. This is my first season of Brewerfan and I've really enjoyed it - especially the link reports. I read them religiously every morning. I can put myself in the category of someone who didn't know too much about the minor leagues until I came here.
  13. Hey, I'm in Nashville for work. It's only 100 miles or so to Hunstville. I just may make the drive tonight. Any idea on whether or not these games sell out?
  14. I had the good fortune to score the hot tub out in right center for the game on Friday (I read the trivia question if anyone cares) and I was called gay about 14,000 times by passing Cub fans. I still think that Twins fans are worse, however.
  15. The Brewers farmhands had 3 players of the year in their respective leagues - Captain Lou, Prince, and Corey Hart. Not too shabby.
  16. Initial report was a possible fracture. That's why I said IF it's broken the Crew is hosed.

  18. hate to put a damper on this but if Jenkins thumb is really broken, we're hosed. Good thing we got to 58 wins as quickly as we did. I'd say the over under on wins with him out of the lineup is 10.

  20. I haven't seen anything like this since that Anita Bryant concert.

  22. Well with Ginter ailing, maybe Hall will get the start in Chicago tomorrow.
