  1. From the accounts I have read on this site I am of the understanding that Dana gets it up there in the low 90's (90-93) with a good curve and decent change. Again, having never seen Dana pitch personally, I have been under the impression that he throws a little harder than Ben H.
  2. Does anyone here besides me think that Dana Eveland is our best pitching prospect. I know Capellan has the stuff to be really special, but Dana Eveland has excelled at every level he has been. I really think this kid is going to be a very, very good pitcher for the Brewers for a long time.
  3. Think Russ likes Kip Wells' Curveball???
  4. Schroeder just asked Sutton what OPS was???http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  5. Hey Ralph, don't forget today is the day we see if your "BOLD" prediction of Cappy getting the first pitcher hit comes to fruition.
  6. Ahhh yes its link report time, baby!!! I so much look forward to checking these every evening and then again in the morning! I would like to echo the sentiments to Mass Haas (and everyone else who helps out along the way) and thank you for your time and dedication to making this happen! It is truly awesome!
  7. Well Ralph if you are correct I will give you your due, and tip my beer to the east at the time of the event in homage to your prediction!
  8. Come on Ralph, you're really going out on a limb there picking Cappy to be the first pitcher to get a hit. I will predict Sheeter as the first pitcher to get a base knock in his next start. I will also predict that we hear about that hit for quite a while on the pregame shows through Jimmy P!
  9. Spivey with a HR. 1-0 Crew still in the bottom of the second
  10. With the exception of the patch down the rightfield line, the turf looks pretty good at the Keg. Better than I thought it would anyways.
  11. Bottom of 9th Hermanson Pitching for Soxs Again, guys sorry I had to do this in this fashion, but for some reason I don't get the edit post option when I post. Anyways, hope this helped for some of you to follow along. Hall - Hard single to left center Borders - F9 Hart - Single to left, Hall to second Krynzel - The Pods comparison to Krynzel's new stance at the plate is pretty acurate. 6-3 Kieshniek - Infield single in the hole (17-6 Soxs) Prince - GONE over the batters eye in dead center field (17-9 Soxs) ABSOLUTE BOMB!!! Durrington - Infield single to short Weeks - K swinging
  12. Still top of 9th Brooks in Martinez - 1-3 Come backer to Brooks and he 1-hops it to Prince....what the heck is going on? Inning is finally over
  13. Top of the 9th Julio Santana in for the Crew Valdez - Super Dave with a nice running catch in the right center gap. F8. Borchard - Wind aided Double (I guess) Durrington with a horrible attempt in left. Trent get out of the way and let Dave get it! Just guard the line man. Molina - K swinging Gload - Single to right center (14-5 Soxs) Ozuna - Single to right center runners at the corners Alvarez - E3 Price just dropped one from Helms (15-5 soxs and this is really getting ugly) Uribe - Single to left (16-5 ) Widger - Single to Center (17-5) Santana coming out Kieshniek coming in
  14. Bottom of the 8th Marte now pitching for Sox Prince - F7 Lee - HBP right in the hip. Lee took exception and the benches cleared. It was pretty funny watching Krynzel try to keep Lee from going out there Weeks - (Durrington PR for Lee) K looking on a high and inside fastball, ump must have a tee time to get to. Week's approach at the plate looks just like Sheffield's. I had heard that, but it is definately true. Helms (Balk on Marte, Durrington to second) - 5-3 They keep showing Lee in the dugout and he doesn't look real happy!http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif
  15. Top of the 8th Justin Lehr Pitching for the Crew Gload - E6 Ozuna - Single to right Tony Alvarez - 6-4 (runners on the corners) Uribe - (Lehr threw away a pickoff attempt at 1st 12-5 Soxs) Single to Center 13-5 Soxs Widger - F8 Martinez - 5-3 Weeks with a nice play on a tough hop
  16. Bottom of the 7th Viz-Dog pitching for the Sox Hart - (Longgggggggggg foulball to start at-bat) K looking Clark - K looking Spivey - F8
  17. Top of the 7th Phelps still pitching Widger - 5-3 Crede - HR to Center (11-5 Soxs) Valdez - F9 Borchard - Single (advances to 2nd on bobble by Hart in right) Timo Perez (this guy is still in baseball???) - Popout to Hall
  18. Bottom of 6th Helms - 6-3 Hall - F9 Moeller - 6-3
  19. Top of the 6th Tommy Phelps Pitching for the Crew Hart now in right Konerko - Pop out to Price Dye - 1-3 Rowand - Single to rightcenter (each of Rowand's 3 hits to almost the exact same spot) Uribe - K swinging
  20. Thump, I stand corrected. Thank you for enlightening me. I am going to go out on a limb and say you probably pitched beyond the high school level???
  21. Bottom of 5th Fabio Castro pitching for the Sox Hardy (PH for DeLaRosa) - Double down the right field line Clark - (Balk sends Hardy to third) Single to left (10-4 Soxs) Spivey - (Maybe one of our posters at the game can confirm this but Junior really looks to be pulling off the ball badly right now) Bloop single to right center Prince - BB (bases juiced) Lee - 6-4-3 GIDP (10-5 Soxs) Jenks - Pop out to 3rd
  22. Clancy, I wasn't blamming Chad, I just thought it was a really weird play. Nice play by the kid to be there. If that was Jeter that would have been on SportsCenter for months!http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/ohwell.gif
  23. Top of the fifth DeLaRosa still pitching Widger - Lineout to Helms Crede - Double to left Wilson Valdez (PH) - Single (blooper to right) DeLaRosa is being blooped to death Pods - 6-3 (no advancment by runners) Harris - WP (10-3 Soxs) K looking on another nice hammer
  24. In watching the game on TV, I don't know for sure but Santos velocity looked just fine, it was his location that he struggled with. I don't know if the dead arm argument holds water in his case
