  1. First time I've seen Hall at 3rd, tell you the truth, I feel comfortable with him there. Had my doubts, but seeing him there has just about convinced me!
  2. Well other than Weeks, that was just sad! I wonder if how Weeks stands at the plate coiled like a rattlesnake with the bat moving intimidates a pitcher, cause he was walked on 4 straight pitches.
  3. Thata boy Rickyhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif
  4. Can Jenkins get out of my doghouse? Come on Geoff! Nope!http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/sick.gif My 6 year old son has more patience at the plate than Jenkins.
  5. Is Chad Moeller starting to "heat" up? Maybe he can give Jenkins some pointers!http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/grin.gif
  6. yeah batman, I've heard somewhere that 2 out of 3 ain't bad, but did that one have to be so brutal?
  7. Jorge in a little bit of trouble, leave him in and see how he handles it.
  8. Has Obermueller lost his starting job? If he has, he's not making a convincing case for long relief either.
  9. With an at bat like that, Jenkins would sit on the bench tommorowhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif
  10. Tell me that Gameday got that wrong or did Jenkins strikeout on 3 straight pitches?
  11. Gagne in, let's hope the talk about him losing something is true.
  12. Just got in and its seems to be an underwhelming performance by the Crew, well at least Chad's average has grown to a robust .127!http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif
  13. Thanks UW for expanding my horizons, I have never heard of a fish taco, sounds interesting. Here in Tennessee, 99% of all recipes involve pork or a pork by-product. I think I need to move!http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
  14. UW, please explain to this southern boy, is a fish taco a real taco?http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/embarassed.gif
  15. Solid win, great to see the losing streak come to an abrupt end. Maybe this is the start of something good.
  16. I love Pat Borders music, "I don't need no rockin' chair" by George Jones. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/roll.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/roll.gif
  17. It's nice to see box scores again, and those resultshttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif !
  18. Wow, that must have been an ugly game. What a lineup, I cannot remember a lineup that impotent anywhere in baseball. At least Yost used Bennet in a position where the game was not on the line. He's just not very good is he? I wonder if Doug is beginning to rethink his decision not to make any trades, of yeah we're playing for .500!
  19. Congrats to Wes O. on probably throwing his best game ever, jeers to Adams and Viz on almost blowing it, Kolb to the rescue, thank you! Couple of comments, Jenkins needs to ride some pine for a few days to see if that would snap him back to reality. Branyan needs to be the everyday 3b, bottom line! Helms can you feel it slipping away! I wonder if Ned is beginning to rethink his thoughts on Helms yet? Come on Ned you can deny it no longer, Branyan is just better!
  20. Someone tell me that Adams and Viz are not going to blow this game!
  21. After watching the Cards-Cubs game yesterday, I came away being totally impressed with the Cards offense, an awesome lineup. The pitching is the weakpoint, in order to win, the Brewers better put up some big numbers. Too bad our offense is not as powerful as the Cards, I'll take a split and be very happy with that!
  22. To al and batman, your talk of Indy's bullpen problems made me come to the conclusion that Indy already has a stopper if they will switch him from starting, his name? Wes Obermueller! Before I get ripped, let me say I will be the first to admit Wes is clearly not a starting pitcher however, that being his weakness makes it a strengh as a reliever. Bottom line, Wes seems to do good for 3 to 4 innings or once through the batting order after that its tee time for the opposition. So move Wes to the pen and I believe he'll make a contribution to the organization.
  23. As much as I support Wes, I have to believe the chain is growing short and if he gets bombed tonight that may just earn him a ticket to Indy. Wes may have not been pitching long (senior in college, from what I understand) and I do like his groundball ratio but maybe he needs more time to perfect his pitches or move to more of a niche roll (long relief). I believe if used more often he could prove to be an effective 3 or 4 inning man.
