Come to think about it we really don't need another 3B. We need a 5th OF. However, Orie or Durrington would be niceer than Wes. I would prefer Durrington because of his speed. Nelson Cruz?

Helms DFA, bring up Durrington. He knows his role. Has a little power and can run.

Marquette students: Does any Marq. Bars have a shuttle to the game? Muphy's, The Annex, Caff's

Going Sunday, but I am hoping to talk the wife into going tonight as well. It totally slipped my mind Sheets was pitching tonight. I am going to have to work extra hard to get her to go. She loves baseball and the Brewers, but I think she had her heart set on a movie. Do they still have the $5 bleacher offer for college students. I still use my old college ID when I need to. That way I could tell her going to the ballgame would be cheaper than a movie.

Wow, this really sucks. The outside corner is moving each inning. This ump has no consistency. Sheet curveball had a lot of the strikezone. Carlo's pitch was in the other batter's box. And the belt is not a strike today.

As any good freshmen basketball coach knows ya gotta show the bench some love in a blow out. If the Brewers would have blown that one with Magruder in there, then we got bigger problems then our 4th outfielder. Enjoy the win give some Magruder some love. I am sure this won't be his only PH or CF appearance all year. Might want to get him in there before he is forced to play in CF when the game is on the line.

Wow, seriously disappointed here. Wish someone would have kept track of the game. Oh well, after one too many Easter drinks its time to hit the sack. I'll have to catch the recap tomorrow. SBS, Ja, 950 you guys should be ashamed. Of course I am just kidding, or am I.

Sounds like Ezi is an easy guy to cheer for. For the people who are always out to get sports because of this or that, I always like to point out these examples in how a young adult can join a team instead of a gang. That is why we can't let funding for schools and other positive organizations be taken away. (Sorry if that is political, and erase if need be) Back to the Brewers. I am glad Doug makes these types of moves. Trading Johnson to get him more PT can only help make the Brewers out as a classy organization. With the Seligs now completely gone and a more professional owner in place free agents hopefully will start look at Milwaukee as a great place to play instead of a stepping stone. And who knows Doug's mentality is that speed often develops late. Might as well get the speediest guy with no other tools and see if he develops. Doug could complete his thesis if Ezi even gets a cup in the bigs.

Well, I know most of you will be watching the game. However, for those of us unfortunate people who are out of the state tonight could someone do a running box score? I miss Uecker. I miss The Crew. Omaha is a nice town, but now after the Badger's loss I need a little pick me up. How about a combined no-no by DD and others. Or a couple back-to-backs by Lee and Jenkins. Gotta get back to Miller Park. Can't wait for this Friday to welcome Jenkins to Right Field. Anyone got any good sign ideas to hold up for Jenkins' switch?

Anyone got a running box score today? Would be much appreciated from those at work.

Obie over Glover I haven't seen Glover in person, but it sounds like he will be able to pitch a game plan which Maddux puts together. I have seen Obie and even though he has pitched well in ST I still think his best role will be in Middle/Long relief. I think that switch should be made sooner than later.

Rotation: Sheets, Davis, Santos, Cappy, Glover

If Weeks comes up before the allstar break (which I hope we won't be forced to do) what will his arby situation be? I would look it up myself, but I am doing some work in between refreshes.
  14. Kraft4a3
Does anyone else think Obie has a good chance to make a career in long-middle relief? Last year he would pitch nicely the 1st time through the order, a little worse second time, and 3rd time(if he made it) was brutal.

17-9 was that the Badger score with 5:00 left to go in the first half? or the Current Brewer Score? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I don't know. First post on this board is a fantasy question. Hmmmmm. Well, couple posters a while back said it was precautionary. edit: The x-ray that is.

Well Branyan's hit the latest HR in the battle for 3rd. Heofficially has the hottest bat now. Seriously, hopefully Ned will change his view on platooning and start Branyan v. Righties and Helms v. Lefties. If Helms defense suffers we can phase him out all together, unless his stick is 2003ish. And imo NEVER, NEVER start Helms when Sheets is pitching, I hated watching Sheets pitch a gem and then let Helms chuck one into section 212 and give the team extra outs.

I know the score is now 6-2. How did the Crew score? Is there a possible rally getting started? Bueller? Anyone? Anyone?

Would someone being willing to give out there password? Or is it tied to an account where people could mess around with things? I would pony up the $15 but I will be moving soon and computer access will be cut for a good portion of the summer.
  21. Kraft4a3
Anyone have an updated Brewer line-up for either of the two games? Or Partial line-up would do. Edit: Scratch the Mariner game.
  22. Kraft4a3
Can't even rely on Davis. He gave up 2 runs in 2 innings yesterday. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

nsimps - I know your joking, but he has options left doesn't he? I am curious to see what he can do at AAA when the arm is 100%.

Sounds like Turnbow is starting to turn some heads. There are going to be some tough decisions to be made in the bullpen.

Not to complain because everyone has been helpful, but for those of us who cannot or do not get the mlb radio can we do a Running Box Score. A kin to what SlideBurnieSlide did on the opening spring training game. An edited past post is much easier to read then sporadic updates in between everyones comments. Love the comments, but it is much nicer when things are organized. If nobody agrees with me then forget it and I am a loser.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
