I know it's a Big Ten rule that no alcohol can be sold at Big Ten events on campus. Not sure if that applies directly to hockey as that isn't a Big Ten event.

In WI it's not jaywalking if you are outside the crosswalk UNLESS the pedestrian fails to yield the right of way to traffic. See Wis. Stat. 346.25. Old Milwaukee DA E. Michael McCann taught me that. He was tagged with jaywalking for crossing in the crosswalk. If he had been outside the crosswalk, no ticket. Instead, he was ticketed for violation of 346.23 For more fun with WI pedestrian law, check out WI Stats 346.23, and 346.24. Also 49 Wis. 2d 415.

I have an old iPhone 3g and upgraged. I find the phone's performance to be much more flaky since upgrading. The phone part still works the same, but it seems like my processor isn't big enough to hanlde the new OS. Major lag in it's response to touching the screen at times

Was at the game tonight. Weak refereeing. Missed some easy calls. Made up others. Thankfully it didn't hurt us (and I don't think it hurt SCSU). The better team won. Looked like St Cloud had heavy legs due to the 2OT game on Friday. Also, the SCSU fans I say by (until they moved) were pretty whiny and not all that knowledgeable. Badger fans loud and great travel by the student section.

I'm excited about the series this weekend. I've got tickets for Friday to get my Badger Hockey fix in. Hopefully they don't choke like the last time I saw WI/MN at the Target Center (circa 1998ish) when they got shellacked like 7-0.

New Glarus - Cran-Bic - loved it. However, I love the Raspberry Tart they make, too. Picked up some Viking Beer from Dallas, WI. Got the Dim Whit and Copper Head . Dim Whit reminded me of Stone Soup. Neither one was mind-blowing, but not bad either. They weren't very carbonated at all, which caught me off guard at first. I also picked up some of their Barley Wine and want to try their Mojd (mead) when I find it. Anyone else try their beer?

I've been to Mankato a couple times and a Border Battle at the Target Center back in the day. Mankato was a decent stadium. A little smaller than the Dane County Colliseum. Can't beat how nice the scalpers are down there. I bought 2 $20 tickets that came with 4 free beer vouchers for $40. The game was completely sold out.

Can't go wrong with Harvest or L'etoile. Been to both. Both very nice. IIRC, L'etoile kept getting voted best reatuarant in the midwest for a couple straight years by the Chicago Tribune, or something lke that. Really peaved the Chicago restaurants. -

If you get caught with pot twice in WI, you *might* go to prison. It's a felony, but no one I ever convicted for a 2nd THC possession charge ever saw jail, let alone prision. Most also avoided the felony conviction. -

FWIW, I have a plasma and love it. I've had it about 2 years. The only downfall is glare. If your tv room has much light coming in, consider not going the LCD route. I 2nd the LED suggestion. Saw one at Best Buy the other day. It looked like it was 3d (too me, at least).
