Weeks boots the grounder by Fukudome and then throws one away so badly you'd almost think it was on purpose. He is not good defensively no matter how much we wish it.
The cost of construction is highly unlikely to ever come close to making it worthwhile to add cheap seats because you could not charge much for seats out there. Do small seating additions, possible answer to getting more fans in, but extremely limited revenue. The same reason Mark Cuban is talking about finding a sponsor for the entire upperdeck and then making those seats free at Mavericks home games to bring in more revenue via sponsorship.
Nice signing Doug, 3 guys who can't get people out in the bullpen. I can't believe they gave a guy with a below average fastball 13 million to be a right-handed reliever.
My biggest pet peeve, accidents are caused by hesitation, not aggressiveness. Make your move decisively, not I'm thinking about changing lanes so I'll start to drift and look all around me and then maybe turn on my signal and finish the move.
Not when Weeks is getting on base at a better than .400 clip the last 9 games. Especially when he seems to be squaring up the ball much more often and lacing line drives, even for outs.
How about the worst draft pick ever in Antone Williamson as the 4th pick in the draft out of Arizona State because he could allegedly, hit, run and catch. That pick alone should scream from the top of Mt. Brewer why Sal Bando should not be allowed to set foot in Miller Park.
No way does any GPS keep up with road closings in the middle of nowhere for rising water. I did the drive to Madison and back yesterday for the Hot Rod Power tour and used my Tom-Tom which is enabled with traffic alerts. I used 94 to F south to D then west to 26/18 south to 18/89 eventually to 12/18 and onto Madison. Then coming back was able to take 94 the entire ride home. Today you wouldn't be able to do so, but there are infinitely faster ways than the state detour not to mention the state WAS NOT using major roads. DOA, I don't know where you got the idea that the state always uses major roads for detours but it is a rather wrong statement.
You're massively reaching with that guess. You need to reach what most people know (largest demographic) or can recognize and they are far more likely to know the movies than the director.
What the hell is Yost thinking sending up a weak AAA hitter with no experience against Oswalt late in a game to tie with a hit?! Counsell, no, Dillon, no, Rivera, no, I mean the idiocy of sending up Irribarren is just astounding.
He had his agent go and whine to the media about wanting to be traded instead of keeping it in house and telling the GM first. That's sufficiently pathetic to earn his booing tonight because he wanted to let the fans know how he felt about his benching instead of manning up. Basically, he had his agent try to put pressure on the team and cast the front office and manager in a poor light. As for the person who wondered why Cameron hasn't been benched, it's because his defense has been good and can be gold glove caliber unlike Billy.
Was that meant to be in blue, or just highly ill advised? You let a 30 year old competitor go until 130. If he doesn't get Lee, fine, take him out. Just because Berkman spoiled a bunch of good pitches, taking him out is the nancy way.
