  1. a quick look on my hero shows these sections available for it, right now: 101-105 106-111 112-117 118-123 124-131 So it looks like for right now, it's only available on the Field level concessions. Bummer, but hopefully this picks up and is available everywhere.
  2. Barring a major injury bug, there is no way this team is worse than last year. I'd say there is a good chance they don't meet expectations, but to win less than 77 games with this squad would be a borderline War Crime.
  3. I think it's cool, personally. I don't usually eat while IN the park(i tailgate a lot), but my wife likes to pick up a soda, or if we are with friends, they usually order a few things. I'm sure i'll try it out once, atleast. I think $1 is worth it for me to sit and watch the game, and not have to stand in line for 15 mins to get something.
  4. BO already stated he would not talk to Jeter about the game. It is frowned upon to get scouting reports from other coaches. He talked to Jeter this week but alluded to the discussion being about something else - very likely the Bradley offerI've never understood this. In High school, i know all the coaches in my conference would give film tape to the other coaches from their previous games(it was football, but still) if they were playing the other team the next week(for example, Team A played Team B the previous week, A would give Team C the game film, as Team C plays B the next week). Is it concidered crooked or cheating or something?
  5. Yankees went up in value(about $100m), and the Brewers are sitting at $25m more than last year. Main Link Brewers Snapshot
  6. With the Big 10 Network this was bound to happen... Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ohio State, Penn State and Wisconsin will be the charter members. http://insidecollegehockey.com/inch/2011/03/19/bigten/
  7. Just happen within the last hour. Tsunami warnings have been issued for Tokyo. It hit 231 mi NE of Tokyo, and 80 mi E of Sendai. Hopefully nobody gets hurt. They are just REALLY lucky it wasn't on land. That would have been a disaster.
  8. Dumb move. Maybe they will Kangaroo Court him and make him pay something that way. I donno, it sucks, but he's only missing 2-3 starts right? Hopefully it won't effect him all year long.
  9. Extremely reasonable. Not to mention, you can charge others outside your group like, $2 to use it, and probably recoup all your expenses.
  10. I haven't researched anything about any of the different editions yet(i won't be buying for at least a month or so) so i can't comment on the differences, but some people just get so ramped up right before release they they lose all reason and buy the biggest and best edition out there(admittedly, i was one of those people a few years ago). Some buy it cuz they want the DLC now, and are willing to pay a "convenience fee".
  11. Sigh, nice call. I was doing some digging and apparently this show was canceled in December. What a bummer. That makes me really sad, it had potential.
  12. The company that owns TVS Sports has a website with some classic television broadcasts that are complete. No way to post a direct link but if you go here and scroll down to baseball it will offer you Game 3 of the 1957 World Series as NBC showed it. Mel Allen starts the broadcast gushing about the good people of Sturtevant, Wisconsin who greeted the Yankees TRAIN arrival.
  13. It's not bad, the key with any wild meat, is not to overcook it. Once you do that, it's tough and just plain bad. Of the things listed on that site, i'd definitely go with wild boar(it's so much better than regular pork, there is no comparison), buffalo, gator, the Lion(obviously) and Elk(i get my own venison, so that's why i leave that off, if you don't, i'd get some of that too)
  14. went out myself and bought a used copy, and i'm playing through it now. I forgot how many side quests there are.
  15. My buddy was at a butcher shop in the twin cities, there was a sign that read "for the Curious Carnivore". He picked them up there, they are bred on a farm in Illinois(only way meat can be sold in the US).
  16. Dragon Age 2 demo is out(at almost 2 gigs, it's huge). I really like it. They offer a change up in the fighting style, and while you can still use the old fashioned battle style, i like the new style out. I'll probably buy this a few weeks after release. I need to rent a copy of DA: Origins and beat that first(never finished).
  17. For my bachelor party last year, my buddies got some exotic meat(i'm a hunter, and they know i don't shy away from odd foods). We had Lion steaks, Black bear, and beaver burgers for the exotic selection(all legal, btw). I wouldn't recommend the beaver, but if you can get your hands on a lion steak, i'm sure it will get you in the running for MVP, based off of coolness alone(not to mention, it was actually really good).
  18. He did a show last year, but it was outrageously priced. I seem to remember $300 for jerseys.
  19. agreed. He's 28, so he'll be 32 by the time he's a free agent. At that point, he's more than likely past his prime. No need to buy out his early 30s.
  20. http://www.cbssports.com/.../entry/22297882/27493695 Not really shocking that Dusty ruined another pitcher. I am shocked he said it, while still an active player.
  21. Agreed. I understand the lack of optimism during the late 90s early 2000s. But now? We are a legit division contender, with an excellent pitching staff and a great offense. A lil optimism should be required at this point.
  22. i don't believe he's biased, and I'm a badger fan. So there goes that generalization. Once again, this board has helped me make my decision for lunch. Time for some horrible T-bell.
  23. This is what i would do: On Opening Day, walk up to the Usher in charge of your section(they are usually above the loge section, or in the walkway on the terrace level). Explain the situation to them, and how two different reps said two different things. Ask him/her what the enforcement rule is for today, and go from there. Because, after all, it actually doesn't matter if the rule is in place, only if that particular usher is going to enforce it. If you can't find the usher(which would shock me, as with opening day we always had at least one usher per section), look for the supervisor(there are one per side of each level) and ask him/her. In fact, to play it safe, i would ask both the supervisor and the individual usher.
  24. I interpreted the question as "do you think about the fact that you are going down to the minors, no matter how well you play." To me, that's a simple yes or no answer. If he wants to play all year in the minors(Kendall's answer) is moot.
  25. a quick search came up with around $12-$40. Pretty reasonable, especially for a family.
