Meh, still seems kind of douchey thing to do. "I want to be different, look at me! My car doesn't have plates!" I also don't buy the he was trying to be anonymous thing. I understand why Apple is doing what it's doing, but as far as running a business is concerned, i think MS is doing the right thing. Get paid for it, and if it takes off, you make bank on both your product and your competitors. Also saves in Court fees(of course, that's chump change for these big companies.).

You find these coming up every once in a while. Going to other teams conventions(like the cubs convention) is an easy way to score stadium used items from your favorite team. And because you will probably be the only brewer fan there, it's usually reasonably cheap.

I'm sure the Twins fans thought that about Ortiz. Who was protecting Fielder all year? Protection is not that important over a 162 game schedule. Signing Ortiz during the steroid era(thus prolonging his peak years) is a little different than signing Prince today. I'm sure that Prince will produce at his current level for a few more years, but no where near as long as Big Papi did. I see prince going more like Mo Vaughn. He'll start to decline around 30, and be mediocre by 33. And no, that's not sour grapes talking, i would rather spend the money on a SS and pitching. -
Knowing TLR, he might get pulled this inning if he keeps this up.

Apparently compensation talks are not going well. The Cubs want to give them money, but the Red Sox are only interested in players.

I know they have a deep pen, but i have to think this only helps us over such a long series.

as long as they vastly overpay for Prince, i have no problem with it. a 25m a year, for 8 year contract would cripple the Cubs for a while(especially the back end). I can live with that.

Is he back wrestling? That guy hasn't been given a push in about 12 years(or so it seems), yet they keep bringing him back. Good for him. I love that guy.

If he's happy in Mn, i don't see the big deal. He obviously no longer has the attachment that he does with the Twins. Does he get a bad rap? Sure. He is one of the greatest Brewers of all time, and hopefully he will get back into the family soon. But, until that day, you can't be shocked when Robin gets the adoration for not only playing his entire career here, but maintaining a connection here long after his career was over. Had Paul joined the brewers front office, and maintained a presence here, he would get the same treatment as Yount. No doubt in my mind.
