Reds Hate vs. Cards Hate
SoCal Brew Crew Fan replied to Warning Track Power's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I can see that happening. I saw the interviews called, "Tony Talk" after the game...he's gruff, arrogant and completely intimidates the kids assigned to interview him. He answers his own questions when he doesn't like theirs and will complement them when they throw him a softball. Their media and most likely the fan base is reflective of LaRussa's personality which seems to dominate the organization. -
Impressions of Roenicke so far (part 1)
SoCal Brew Crew Fan replied to adambr2's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
They showed RRR and Yuni having a discussion after Yuni's first crappy at bat. You couldn't see RRR's lips, but it seemed to be A slightly more intense conversation than usual. Reading between the lines from comments and starting Counsell twice this weekend seems to indicate RRR is getting fed up with Yuni. I've been critical of some of the lineups by RRR as have many, but he seems to be more willing to make changes the further we get into the season...the CF platoon and maybe a SS platoon. -
Ideas to afford Prince Fielder

I'm willing to donate a kidney after today...who's in?!?!? -
When Loe's been good...he's been good. Let's hope we see the same Axe we saw yesterday too. Wouldn't mind a couple Badger Mutual Insurance runs here.
-
Who's warming up? Assuming Loe.
-
Caught that...just priceless. The sound of defeat in their voice was just beautiful. Next words were...this Miller Park crowd is smelling first place.
-
Maybe they send Yuni down.
-
...and Gomez is by far our best defender at a premium defensive position.

There was plenty of talk during his minor league stint about his attitude well before the facebook picture. I'm sure some of the Timber Rattlers insiders could chime in, but I heard numerous stories that he was not well liked by many teammates and coaches. Maybe he was just young and stupid and will grow out of it, but he was kind of a tool while with the Brewers organization. A talented tool, but a tool.

You are right on Robin...Carpenter was interviewed on Cardinals Live and said he asked the ump where the previous pitched missed. He said the ump took exception to it, but they were fine by the end of the inning. He may have asked the ump how he was going to explain the 2-2 pitch to his son.
-
Thought we were in trouble with Carp's low pitch count, but he sure looked mortal that inning. Cmon Zack...finish them!!!
-
This may be a little tardy, but Cards HD is 671 & WMLW black and white is 743. That Rasmus at bat seemed to change the game. Carp is rolling...need some pressure.

I'm a little partial to Calvin Coolidge Julius Caeser Tuskahoma chickinbrickin myself. Congratulations!!! My kids were born in the Brewers dark ages...Ruben Quevado wasn't much of a girls name anyway.

Wore my new Plush jersey out today...a little disappointed I got no comments. Plush needs another big national moment!!!

mlb discussing reallignment (2 15 team leagues)
SoCal Brew Crew Fan replied to patrickgpe's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
No way should they add new teams. There are some cities that don't adequately support the teams they have. It's too bad they didn't contract a couple teams when they tried. More teams...less chances for a title. It's going to be hard enough for a small market team to win it as it is. I'd be fine with two 15 team leagues...anything to get an extra team out of our division. It won't be perfect, but it's probably an improvement. -
Reds Hate vs. Cards Hate

This thread is going to need a little bump for the weekend...oh how I dislike those smug, sanctimonious Classies -
You may have to change your name to LucEatBurrito next season! Bring on the Classies!!!
-
Why not PH for Yuni?
-
Prince locking in his player of the week honors.
-
I hope RRR was taking notes. Good move by Collins...and not just because it worked.
-
As ugly as we look...Niese looks like Gallardo when he's on with that curve...throwing it for strikes at will. He's been really tough.
-
Yuni and Gomez with some ugly ABs
-
Better AB from Casey...hopefully he's getting close.
-
Infield in? In the fourth? If there is that little confidence in our offense, we need a new offense.
-
Yo has 63 pitches through 3...Niese only 28.
