  1. That's why you are my favorite Brewer Rickie! I believe he's scored on all 4 Hart homers as well.
  2. What are you going to do...it's unfortunately human nature. These things are going for over $100 on ebay and a few of these scumbags took advantage of the situation and ruined it for everyone else. There will always be opportunists out there like this. It reminds me of the autograph hounds that hang outside the team hotel. If you've ever had a player that hasn't been too receptive to signing something for your child, it's probably because they have to deal with these scumbags that stalk them all the time. They get stuff signed so they can sell the stuff on ebay...once again ruining it for everyone else.
  3. Thanks vgmastr...I missed that 2 game set against Rocks in Sept. So we play 2 extra games against the Rockies over the Reds...that extrangame outside of the added series is likely a rounding error.
  4. I'll bet you JohnBriggs was at that Kubiak game. This is a breakout game for Davey Nelson too...not even Corey's kids love the Big Kentucky kid as much as Davey.
  5. Gotta hand it to RRR...I think he got the mojo going with the first bf.net approved batting order of the season. It seemed all this lineup needed was the proper order and for either Hart or McGehee to get going...Hart is going all right tonight...11 runs, wow. But how is Braun going to win the RBI crown with a viable #2 hitter cleaning up the bases in front of him?!?!? Also, getting to see my man Augie going down the slide...I think he had a lot to do with it!!!
  6. I haven't fully dug into it, but the article may not be apples to apples. The comparison uses the NL team that we and others play during the week of interleague...the Rockies this week for us. I looked at the schedule and found 4/16 teams play 18 inter league games (Reds, Dbacks, Mets and Marlins), the rest play 15. However that doesn't mean we play an entire extra series against the Rockies...both the Reds and Brewers play them 7 times. It's likely 3 extra games spread across 3 teams. I haven't dug into it, but that would be the proper compare to see who has the overall tougher schedule.
  7. Even if they left, hopefully they got home for Cheese sandwiches and a Prince walk-off!
  8. NL won 8-5 with Giants/A's tied...yet Cards and Reds both lose. Now let's bust through that .500 mark!
  9. Prince hit some deep shots out west...that ball would have been out of the polo grounds in center. Nice to get McClendon the W! ;-)
  10. Wasn't the run the validation? Not if you value process more than outcome.
  11. It sounded a lot better after reading the quotes from Wolf. He's got his way of doing things, and he gets that it's a little off. He's also seemed to be better with Lucroy despite the trips...he's not screaming at him like last year...the quantity of trips aren't down, but the body language is better. My guess is RRR has had some positive influence here.
  12. The only thing Betancourt has that Counsell doesn't is a little power. Counsell gets on base and is a better fielder. The concern would be Counsell is the only backup at 3rd and 2nd as well, but he should still be out there more. I'd love to see him get the starts vs. RHP, but that's probably asking too much from RRR. YB is flat out awful.
