    This attempt at Spanish is has me totally giggling. My guess is you were going for "Yo vamonos" - but that translates to "I let's go" so that's not right. There's no real translation for "Gotta" so my best guess would be "I have to go" which is "Tengo que ir" Not trying to be a pain - I really did find it to be hilarious and I thought I'd give the right answer.

    The price for the product the Bucks are producing is also pretty ridiculous. Mom's boss has season tickets in the last row of the downstairs bowl at the Bradley Center and face value on those is higher than face value of a Packers ticket. I just find that so outrageous.

    Weirdly, they gave them out as part of the fan appreciation game - the final game of the season. They gave out scratch off tickets and a bunch of the scratch offs were for gnomes. They had a table with boxes upon boxes of them. Apparently they ordered quite a few of them.

    The thing is, there are players across the league that do some sort of demonstrative thing every time they get on base. Pujols is one of many who crosses himself and points to the sky each and every time. That's just one example that comes to mind at the moment. I've brought this up on Twitter and a few other places and no one has ever been able to tell me what separates the two and why one is showing up the pitcher/opposing team and one is not. Not to turn this religious, (and certainly not to defend Pujols but........) you're comparing paying homage to one's Deity to Sully, from Monsters Inc? Those aren't exactly comparable.It depends on how you look at it, I think. Your argument is valid, but mine is as well. On the surface, its an action done every time you get on base, regardless of whether its Pujols, Morgan or Molina. If one is a problem, the other should be too. Plus, the Pujols thing just bugs me because it literally doesn't happen anywhere else. What would happen if a basketball player did that every time he hit a basket or completed a pick and roll? Or what if you did it at work every time you turned in a report or sent out a client email? It's just so over the top to me, and that's what makes it so grating and unnecessary.

    People have to remember, too, that Melvin has said a lot of things in the past that turn out not to be the case. What he says publicly seems to have little to do with what he's actually planning or thinking. He said he had no interest in Nyjer Morgan and he was a Brewer a week later. I just don't take anything he says to the media at face value anymore.

    I should add that a store that often has Sports team merchandise that no one realizes is Boston Store. Since no one thinks of them as having the merchandise, they often have too much and have to discount it. I've found this at a lot of their stores, but especially at the one in the Grand Avenue in downtown Milwaukee. They went nuts for the Super Bowl and had racks upon racks of merchandise that no one was going to Boston Store downtown to buy. You have to be a little patient - the discounts start small, but they do grow. I bought a tshirt that was marked $32 for $6 and bought my brother a $90 jacket for $20 two months or so after the fact. I also bought a throwback Brewers jersey there after the season for under $30.

    Ok, I read this story on the J-S app this afternoon and its not there now, which is weird. I can't find it on their website either, but I'd swear I did. I even read some of it to my bf. Anyway, that story did specifically say that Selig was retiring in 2012.

    Agreed - I have no idea what the heck I'm going to do with these things. I can't imagine getting rid of them, but at the same time, I'm not hanging cheap towels all over my walls. Someone jokingly said they were going to make a quilt out of them, but frankly, I might do that - sew them all together into a blanket-style thing? I don't know.

    Narveson game up more runs than Marcum. You think his pitching one inning in game 5 is to blame? Also - that's one option - you said there were plenty of them....

    I hated the Loe move. Especially because there was no one warming in the pen behind him - even when he put the first 2 on. Everyone else had a short leash, but the guy with the 27.00 postseason ERA was the one that we left out there to do whatever? Not a fan

    Could you name some of those options for us? Other than Yo or Wolf on short rest, I'm not sure what they are, much less that they can be quantified as plenty.

    It was funny, but ultimately disappointing. The hype made it seem like it was going to be someone really cool and leaking it so far in advance left a lot of time to speculate and get hopes up. Plus, this guy had made an appearance before, so it wasn't even something new. He was in the dugout before another game and they had that on the broadcast and on the news. In retrospect, it just feels like it was the opening joke on a night that felt like the punch line was on us.

    SSH price for Terrace Reserved is $150 a ticket - for the cheapest seat in the house. Food for thought...

    I think I've said this elsewhere, but I always suggest talking to mechanics. They often know people looking to unload cars and they know what kind of maintenance has been done on the car and whether its well-taken care of.

    I watched a clip of the walkoff play that also had Nyjer swearing on it. The clip was 1:41 long. Sam Ryan had that mic in his face less than a minute after the game ended - that's just asking for trouble, no matter who the player is.

    I think its ridiculous to think that Prince if after the money in looking for a contract. The money will be great no matter what - he's looking for the years. I'm pretty sure Prince will sign the longest contract offered to him. The problem with the Brewers offer isn't the $100 million - it's that it's only 5 years. Prince is looking for 8-10 years, if someone will give it to him. He knows that in 5 years, he might not get offered anything more than single-year contracts. With his body type, he needs to secure as long a contract as he can to ensure he's not playing for his life later. He's trying to set himself up for the rest of his career. Sure, longer contracts will come with more money, but he knows he's going to get paid.

    You know, I'm oddly ok if this is about her being hot and having big boobs. It's that she was set up as this paragon of fanhood because she's a woman who keeps score and goes to games by herself. Now she got attention and she's milking it for all its worth because sex sells. I guess I feel like she can't have it both ways. Either you're there to enjoy the game and cheer on your team or you're there to get your boobs on Deadspin. And I don't judge her. If Deadspin and maybe 15 minutes of local fame are her goal, more power to her. I could only hope to look as good as she does - now, much less when I'm 40. I guess I just find it kind of insulting that this is supposed to be the paragon of the female fan at Miller Park. I manage to attend many, many games, write about them for websites and generally be a fan, all without my rack being a factor in the equation.

    Not sure why the postseason should be different. The rule doesn't have a postseason clause in it. It says you can't sell above face. Period. If you want to scalp, there are plenty of places you can go do that. This isn't the place for it. If you have extra tickets and you want hard core fans to use them, put them up here, get your money back and be happy that the ticket's getting used. If you're looking for profit, use another medium.

    Maybe this is judgey of me, but that woman is driving me absolute bonkers. I was all about her story of being there by herself and keeping score, but I'm already sick of her. She lost me completely when she called Nyjer Morgan "the Brett Favre of baseball." That was followed by saying she got into the Brewers when she saw a picture of JJ Hardy in the newspaper. Ugh. Just ugh. Brett Favre of baseball? That's just an awful analogy.

    My suggestion would be to have the preferred person park in general with you. I think if the preferred holder hands it over to the general parking ticket taker and says "I just want to park here," they'd be ok with it. Otherwise, call the ticket office. It'll be manned all day. 414 902 4000 (yes I have that number memorized - It's an easy number and i call it all the time for info about various things)

    The city bus pulls right in front of the stadium, near Helfaer Field. That would be the suggestion I'd give to anyone who isn't happy with parking or shuttles.
