Listening to Uecker, not watching - Definitely said we knew that those sorts of things were going to happen with Braun because no matter how many practices balls we hit to him, you can't train someone for those types of things - it's a feel thing he'll have to get used to. Anyone who saw it agree with that?

I disagree if the hat you're talking about is the one they gave away at MP a few seasons ago. That hat is not two-tone, it's all the golden yellow color. I have it at home and can post a pic tonight.

This was when I was in high school, so it may have changed, but at Lands' End Inlet stores you got 30% off the price. You also got a gift certificate when you were hired and then once a year following that to be used in the store to purchase clothes to wear to work. It couldn't be used on things you couldn't/wouldn't wear in the store - so no outwear, pajamas, etc...

When he was warming up on the field last Saturday, I totally thought he was Wise and I also had a fit. I was afeared that Wise somehow made his way back and I was going to cry!!

I can see Prince and his big frame, but why Rickie continually leads the league in HBP is also beyond me. He doesn't really crowd, and he is a threat on the basepaths...makes no sense. Rickie's elbow hangs way out over the bases. If you have Monday's game taped, go back and look at when he gets hit. Bill/Brian go over it and show some close-ups and slo-mo's. His elbow is pretty much his strike zone. That's what consistently gets plunked.
