  1. Yeah, I would have liked to see the argument unfold in real time. It doesn't really matter, but that's the kind of stuff that separates a good broadcast from a great broadcast.
  2. Could someone please photoshop Murphy's face onto a picture of Rick Astley? It could become the next BF phenomenon...
  3. I know you're not looking at theme parks, but trust me: you will rue the day that you decided NOT to go to Islands of Adventure. It's fantastic.
  4. Studying for a classical Greek mythology final I have tomorrow -- I'm not a Classics major or anything, but I do really enjoy the source material for some reason. It's provocative and different than some garden-variety story.
  5. As the above posters have mentioned, going to your local library is a HUGE asset. I go to college right now and have the pleasure (or burden, if you want to look at it that way) of living with four other guys, and it gets hectic around here a lot -- escaping that hooplah really helps me to concentrate and get my work/studying done. Also, I find it really does help to bring a set of headphones and an iPod to the library and listen to some soothing/quiet music to help you concentrate on your work and not your surroundings. Hope that helps, RoCo. = )
  6. From my own personal understanding and from the description, it doesn't sound like you have a very strong case. Simply because the upstairs tenant was unhealthy and (perhaps) a nuisance isn't very strong ground to countersue, especially since as soon as you signed the lease, your co-lessee had moved out, therefore voiding your agreement (unless your other roommate was subletting the lease from your ex, which from my understand through your description doesn't sound like the case). I'm not an expert or anything, but it doesn't sound like a strong case. Best of luck with the situation, though.
  7. Congrats! I enjoyed reading the write-up as well as the great news. = )
  8. Wow. Just wow. I watched the whole game and I'm just numb right now. That was a thorough shellacking.
  9. I might be on my own on this one, but I thought Unbreakable was a well-made movie and it's definitely on line with The Sixth Sense for me.
  10. Perhaps he hasn't had his 42 cups of coffee yet and isn't ready to rumble. = P
  11. ...and the 3-1. Wow. That ump must've been awkwardly upset about Braun running out of the batter's box prematurely, and decided to "teach him a lesson".
  12. This discussion reminds me of the episode of Scrubs where Turk is fiending for Brinner (breakfast for dinner). I have to agree, though -- breakfast food is just great.
  13. I'll definitely check it out in a bit and give you a more in-depth look at my thoughts on it. Thanks for sharing.

  15. In no real order: Brewers It's Always Sunny... The Office Lost Scrubs SportsCenter
  16. I just recently got over a really bad cold by taking the recommended amount of cough syrup along with 4-5 packets of Emergen-C powder (put into an 8 oz. glass of water) a day. The Emergen-C powder really worked miracles -- I strongly suggest trying it.
  17. I've been thinking about buying one from my friend... he's a craftsman who can make them for a fraction of the cost that you'd normally pay. They're quite fun, so it'd probably be worth the purchase, despite its steep cost.
  18. Haha, I'll put the good word in. = )
  19. I know that guy that owns Zim's bar -- he's a very nice man. He even set up my wireless network at my apartment for me!
  20. I go to college, so I basically live off of cereal as it is both relatively cheap and it maximizes happiness in my life. Your strategy on switching up the cereals is what keeps them great -- make sure you don't stick on one for too long or you'll get sick of it.
  21. I laughed out loud so hard at this. I have to agree, though.
