  1. I guess I shouldn't have said Dodger form. Hopefully somewhere between the dominance he was as a Dodger and how solid he was as a Ranger. He was awful as a Red Sox, anyone know how he went from 16 saves and a good ERA in Texas to just getting lit up in Boston? According to Francona gagne came in and did not use his Change up at all like he did in Texas.... and that changeup when working is probably one of the best in the league... he just tried to throw fastballs by the hitters and got hit pretty hard....
  2. The Plan was when Linebrink was brought in was to have him and Turnbow SHARE the setup role... that all went out the window when our consitant 7thinning guy matt Wise hit that reds player... and could not throw another strike.... Then that made Linebrink the 7th inning man and turnbow the 8thinning man and Coco the closer...which really killed the bullpen losing that extra Decent guy in the back end that could help out Turnbow when he gets all messed in the head...
  3. I think with him hitting behind fielder and Braun and ahead of Hall or Cameron he will get his chances to run... and they wont feel bad about sending him in front of a guy like Hall... of course if Fielder and Braun are on base then that clogs up the bases a bit more....but I see him actually haveing 32 HRs this year and 35 SBs...
  4. Thanks for the info guys...yeah I was surprised when I opened up the Fed Ex package and I saw these Printed Tickets on Pieces of Paper.... and I was thinking I really just wanted the Tickets...I dont care to much about a keepsake but I know with a ticket I am in for sure... and with pieces of paper you just still have that doubt....
  5. I think he will do it..... He did not play full time the first month or so because of injury and struggling against a righties.... they really did not send him stealing that much until like June when he was the leadoff man when Weeks was on the DL, so yeah I think its very possible we have 2 30/30 guys this year in Weeks and Hart..... hell If Braun gets enough chances to run to..could have 2 30/30 guys and a 40/30 man...lol
  6. Think more along the lines of Carlos Villy...who has to have perfect command and control to do well..... once he starts pitching more in the rotation you will see why CV was not a highly touted prospect at all....... He has the ceiling of a 4/5 pitcher as well... and I see CV being the righty version of Cappy.. Will Inman will be decent if he can get out of the minors and actually get to pitch in that grand canyon called PETCO... but he is starting at Double A again this year because he did terrible there for the Brewers and the Pads last season..... and Double A is where you really start to see if your pitching prospects can actually be succesfull

  9. Maybe there will be a ton of snow.... and they have to move the game up to Milwaukee....lol... That was great last year Seeing both the Brewers and Cleveland Indians home openers in Miller Park
  10. Yeap I will be at Miller South for Opening day as well...my Ex GF is a huge Cub fan and even after I trashed all the Fans at wrigley during the Game 3 playoffs while wearing my Brewer gear...she still is inviting me to the game...lol...
  11. http://www.seats.com/mlb_cubs_tickets.htm?pagetype=section&lg=mlb&tm=cubs&vn=wrigley_field&cy=chicago&st=il&sec=216 Seats for $25 -$35 dollars for opening series..............Brewer fans lets snap these up
  12. Why does Prince get such crappy Agents.... First his Dad steals most of his Signing bonus when he was Prince's Agent.....and now Scott Boras will steal Prince's Soul.....
  13. Ok great, that puts my mind at ease.... I figured they were ok and the ticket agency had a good rating on the Better Business site.... so I just guess I needed to catch up with the times a little bit....
  14. Ok I ordered tickets to 2 Red Sox vs Brewer games at Fenway.... and I got them in the mail..... now I guess the old fashion person in me(even though I am 29) was expecting ACTUAL Tickets......but these were scanned on a piece of paper.....had the front of it and the back of the ticket and the Scan Tron tag thing all this basic paper.....but it was all in color.... Is this normal now a days...or does this not sound right? (added tag --1992)
  15. Well you know the saying, "You are what you Eat".......there you go....now Prince is Rabbit food.....lol
  16. Yeah thats been posted a while.... on both here, Jsonline and the Brewer board on Espn....but the good thing about this list on CNN/SI is that they added the Scouting remarks to it...which none of the other sites had....
  17. No i doubt he is because he was only first called up in 2006.... and you can send him up and down in a year as much as you want.... and he was sent down for a bit in 2007 as well.... So I am sure he still has options.... Hell if Gross still had options last year then I think Villy still has options...
  18. The Prince does not eat Meat Balls he Crushes them......... I know pretty lame....I am an accountant so not all that creative....lol
  19. Yeah Parra will likely be down in Triple A until maybe June..... Villy I am still not sold on him like some of you guys are but I could see them keep Villy down the first month as well because the 5th starter is not all that needed BUT that only happens if Yovanni comes back sooner than expected(which according to Yost, Hardicourt and Yovanni...nothing has been ruled out yet) Open the season off with Sheets Suppan Cappuano Bush Villanuauva Vargas as the long man..... When Gallardo comes back ...then drop Villy to the minors until a trade is set up for Vargas, Bush or Cappuano... Or they can then just say Vargas has an arm injury put him on the DL.......and have Villy take that spot....
  20. Crap sorry that was suppose to be 870+ runs.... yes 900 COULD happen but I think uping it 70 Runs with us dropping about 40-50 runs off our runs Against will make us a VERY danagerous team
  21. Yeah I saw that on the Main board as well and since I am blocked from posting on espn's message board when I am at work I could not interject that The brewers were top 5 or 6 in the League in most areas and that was with out Braun up the first 7 weeks, With Weeks being hurt, Estrada being inept, Menchkins platoon and Hall struggling. Cammeron is a big upgrade.... its not just park size that hurts hitters in SD..its the Dense air that kills fly balls I do think we will have a better Offense and score over 800 runs....espeically if people stay healthy.
  22. I think Hardy was in the minors since 2001 He played half year in 2001(year he was drafted) Full years in 2002 and 2003 then 2004 he was hurt most of the year with a Shoulder injury? Then he started the year with the Crew in 2005....struggled until PRINCE Fielder got a call-up for Inter-league play and told Hardy that his swing is different from when he was in the Minors....then he took off hitting the rest of the season.
  23. I dont care if he is that guy or not...... I actually want him to be closer to the Aug and Sept Hardy... where he hit .295 and .280.. with 8Hrs over those last 2 months... and somebody who is better at taking walks....
  24. While I think the back problems gave him fits.... the thing is I think the Club wins here because the panel looks at the 3 seasons and he had a bad rookie year, an injured 2nd year and a good 3rd year...... He has had a history of injuries even in the Minors.... so I would not be to quick to offer him a long contract...take him year by year...and we dont know if Hardy's group did not want to Settle or what.....maybe he just wants to try his hand at the higher amount and big deal if he loses....its a 50/50 shot. I think the club wins this one though...but I dont see this being a big deal Only way its a big deal is if it was like the Howard sitution and they are off by 3 million dollars....NOT 650K
  25. Hey here is a decent Article about the Slot mess... and how you will probably see it go away because of this draft which is very deep draft http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/draft/draft-preview/2008/265576.html
