  1. Congrats to Gerut, nice job by the team all around. A very enjoyable game to watch, hope they keep it up.
  2. LOL, I remember that game very well, Ohka was channeling his inner Ichiro and Uke was hilarious. That game was also the first time Ohka batted left handed.
  3. If the Brewers finished last in the division, DM's job performance would be an epic failure and should no longer remain GM. I think the Cubs are much more likely to finish second than second to last. Finishing behind the Cubs matters to me personally and it'd be very demoralizing if that happens. It just tells me that we did not make any progress from last season.
  4. For me, I'd prefer to judge DM based on results. If the Brewers don't make postseason this year, I think DM has done poorly in his job. And if the Brewers finish behind the Cubs this year, I think DM has failed in his job. But even if the team did badly this year, I doubt DM will be fired by MA because that would mean eating the remaining 2 years in his contract.
  5. I think Casey McGehee is a keeper. I like Casey's approach at the plate and think he could be a consistent .300 hitter with good OBP and decent SLG. His batting approach is much better than Bill Hall's. Maybe a reasonable extension covering his all arby years could save the Brewers millions.
  6. If we're sellers, I'm definitely shopping Fielder, Davis, Zaun, Edmonds, Hoffman, Hart and Hawkins. But I'd like to keep Bush and would offer him a reasonable extension, I prefer to have Bush than Davis in next year's rotation. I'm against giving Fielder a $125M+ extension, hopefully we can get a good trade offer for Prince from a contender. If not, try trading Prince again in the offseason. I think we can get a decent offer for Edmonds from a contender,
  7. It's 12.30pm over here, guess I can say heck with it, I'm going for a long lunch break.
  8. Well, the Red Sox is the second most hated team, barely behind the Indians in the study results. I guess they didn't want to make it too obvious.
  9. I wonder who is paying Nielsen for this study? After seeing how Wall Street rating agencies were in cahoots with Wall Street big banks, could this New York based Nielsen Co. be in cahoots with the Yankees? I'd take this so call "Internet algorithm" study with a huge grain of salt, it may not be credible and could be just be a dubious "survey" to help influence public opinion in favor of the Yankees. Lobbyists of rich organisations use this trick lots of times to influence people.
  10. Hoffman has killed my predictions.
  11. Awesome, AWESOME WIN!! There's no quitting with these Bucks, they fight till the bitter end. Fear The Deer! Go Bucks!
  12. CV has a good changeup, but he also has a 90 MPH fastball to help setup his changeup. I think Trevor's luck has run out, 85 MPH fastballs probably aren't going to cut it anymore.
  13. Grand Slam. Trevor's done, he should not be the closer anymore. He's basically throwing BP out there and hoping to get away it.
  14. I agree. I think it's a bad idea to give Fielder a 125M+ extension, it could potential hamstrung the team in the future like Redd's contract did for the Bucks. With that money, I much prefer to give long term extensions to Weeks and McGehee plus sign another player or pitcher.
  15. Without MLB, the Yankees would not survive. Even in New York, who wants to pay good money to watch the Yankees play with themselves all year. I think it's alright to fix revenue sharing by having MLB take over all local broadcasting rights and distribute the revenue equally to all 30 teams.
  16. Awesome Win! Love the defensive effort and it seems like the entire team step up and the shooting has improved. Really hope the Bucks can keep this up both defensively and offensively. Love that Ole! Ole! chant from the crowd, that was great! I was with them chanting Ole! infront of my computer and doing a little dance, luckily noone was around or they will think I'm nuts. Go Bucks!
  17. And the reason Suppan never gets past the 4th or 5th inning is because he had given up too many runs that the manager had no choice but to yank him. Not only is Suppan killing our bullpen, he's killing our game and our confidence too.
  18. Really hope Suppan is sent to the bullpen immediately, I think Suppan could be a servicable 1-2 inning reliever pitcher for the Brewers, but he should never be put in the position to face the opposing team's batting order twice unless it's a blowout. We already have better options for 5th starter in the team right now in Narveson and Parra, I really don't understand why Macha is stubbornly sticking with Suppan. Aren't the Brewers looking to contend and make postseason this year? I thought the manager's job is to select the starting pitcher that gives the team the best possible chance to win.
  19. If I'm not mistaken, that homer two days ago was off his changeup. I think Trevor's stuff just isn't good, his fastball is slow and his changeup seems to have decline. He's not fooling hitters like he use to, hope he can make some adjustments.
  20. Hate to say it but Trevor's stuff isn't good and his luck seems to be running out. His pitches are slow and very hittable.
  21. Totally agree with extending Weeks now. He's looking like a great pick at No.2 of the 2003 draft.
  22. Other than that last pitch to Holliday, Bush did a nice job today especially on Pujols.
  23. Oh so close to a 3 run homer by Zaun, unlucky. Well Done Elcides! 2 run double, Brewers lead.
