I'm predicting / hoping for a 5-1 roadtrip, and a sweep of the Rockies.

    Sweet!!

I'm pumped about this draft too, will be staying up to watch most of it on mlb.tv tomorrow.

Branyan is still Mr 3TO. All with 2 outs, nice.

WOOHOO!! Inside the park homer by Hart.

Wow, Kapler's 3 for 3 and it's only the 4th inning... Braun is a stud!
  7. tigerbrew
Real nice to see that the Brewers can play small ball as good as the big fly http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I don't know if this is a reliable info, but this is what John Fay the Cincy Enquirer Reds beat writer wrote today
  9. tigerbrew
Nice catch by Kapler to save a run and end the inning.
  10. tigerbrew
I'm hoping it isn't so, but you may be right.

Thought the Reds would pick Yonder Alonso if Gordon Beckham is taken. Really hope Lawrie falls to 16.

Dear Brewers, please kill of the Dbacks and keep the W streak rolling. Good to see Kapler in today's lineup. Go Brewers!

Nice job by Shouse! Brewers Win!

Dillard looks real good, blows by the hitter with a 94mph heater right at the corner for the K. Nice.

I'd much prefer to keep Hardy and trade Hall. Hardy is cheaper, more reliable defensively and has better plate discipline. Hall has poor plate discipline, routinely gets killed by the outside pitch and is a relatively easy prey for Ks. Hardy's plate discipline? He takes pitches right down the middle and swings at one's up in his eyes. Hardy's plate discipline is still better than Hall's, which should suggest how bad Hall's is. Hall takes pitches right down the middle too and he struggles with those away pitches. Sometimes when I watch his ABs, I get the feeling he's guessing at the plate or he's trying to pull every swing.

In honor of the team winning the recent EPL title and Champions League trophy. I've been a big fan of this team since 1983, and to me Ryan Giggs is the best.

I'd trade Hall, Gillespie and Brad Nelson for Greinke in a heartbeat, if the the Royals are interested.

That's my boy!!! That's my boy!!!!! I think a performance like that should garner more respect in the P50 http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

If they are interested, I'd do it right away. Nice trade idea.
  21. tigerbrew
Agree, hope the Brewers can package him for a good SP to replace McClung.

In terms of speed, Hart is probably the fastest guy on the team. In terms of experience, Hart is the more seasoned outfielder including CF. I guess the more likely choice in CF would be Hart, but I'd be interested to try Braun out in CF in next's spring training and see how he does. Currently, I'm leaning to shifting Hart to CF, Braun to RF and LaPorta to LF. I think this could be a great offensive outfield.

In future, I really think that Ned should remove Hall when the Torres comes in to close the game. Hall has been killing Torres with his errors in his last couple of saves, I'd rather have Branyan or Counsell out there instead.
  24. tigerbrew
Agree, he has the makeup and the balls of a closer. The closer committee should be shrunk to one guy, Torres.
  25. tigerbrew
I can't believe it, Torres is not the player of the game. He should be.
