The Dugout Fight (video on Brewers.com)
tigerbrew replied to TooLiveBrew's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I don't think fighting amongst teammates is the right way to build "fight" inside or a good" thing. I think the leader has failed in his job of leading his team. According to Simba, there is only one leader in the team and that is the manager. -
Congrats to Braun and CC. Well done!

At what point should the Cubs and their fans get nervous?
tigerbrew replied to BrewCityUnit's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
With Yost at the helm, Cub fans have nothing to worry about the Brewers. -
Ned Yost really suck, he deserves a Fail grade ever since the debacle last season. Hauricourt is right when he said that Yost has an amazingly long leash, I think DM is out of his mind.

How about Brad Nelson at 1B and Gamel in LF, Braun in RF and Hart in CF? Totally agree with signing Sabathia and letting Sheets walk. Give Hardy and Hart long term deals. I'd probably let Cameron go too to save money. With Turnbow, Gagne, Mota, Sheets and Cameron gone, and Cappy not offered arby, that's over $41M in payroll removed.

Ned Yost is a terrible leader and an awful manager. Ned had failed last year, he had better not fail this year. DM has provided him with a much more talented team at a high cost, failure to make the playoffs this year is not an option.
-
KHP = strikeout handed pitcher?
-
Agreed. I'd rather have Piniella than Yost as the team manager.

8 is the number of good fortune and luck in Chinese culture. For the Chinese, 08-08-08 is a most auspicious date for big events like the opening day of the Olympics, opening day of new business premises, and the opening day of marriage.
-
Got Yosted again today. If the Brewers don't make the playoffs this year, a huge amount of blame has to go to Yost.
-
Go Marlins! Beat the Cubs. Unfortunately I won't be able to watch today's Cubs game due to the timing, but I'll root for the Marlins in spirit.

7/25/08 Astros (Rodriguez) at Brewers (Parra): 7:05 CDT
tigerbrew replied to wibadgers23's topic in Archived Game Threads
Come on Parra, let's keep on rolling and add pressure on the Cubs. Go Brewers! -
I think guys like Pujols, Manny and Zambrano have much worse ettiquette than any player in the brew crew. EDIT: How can I forget to add Aramis Ramirez, terrible HR ettiquette.
-
Well, the Marlins gave much effort tonite but came up just short. Nevermind, I'm confident they will win tomorrow. Go Marlins!
-
Ryan Braun will be the next Brewer to be in the Hall of Fame when he's done playing.
-
Go Marlins! You can beat the Cubs, I know you can.
-
Come on Sheets, let's make it a truly memorable and amazing road trip. Go Brewers!
