  1. I occasionally make smoothies using yogurt, milk, and fruit that’s near expiration. It’s a great way to avoid wasting produce and for some reason ‘smoothie’ sounds way more appetizing than ‘fruit that’s near expiration.’
  2. Now that I’ve had time to reflect, the worst part of yesterday’s game was seeing Rodgers’ McCringleberry celebration go to waste.
  3. Apparently, MLF has no long-term concerns about David Bakhtiari’ heath. So that’s something.
  4. Or another teams knocks them out for you. Or a star player tests positive for COVID the night before the game. It may take a little luck, but be patient. This is still a good football team.
  5. C’mon. Didn’t they lose to the Bears last week? Obviously, they’re in the mix, but this is a week-to-week league.
  6. Not necessarily. Don’t get me wrong, you have to be good to win the Super Bowl. But you also need to be healthy and lucky. A lot can happen between now and January. Write this one off, adjust your expectations a little, but don’t write them off just yet.
  7. Yeah, it's hard to believe ERVIN missing is why our offense has been so...stagnant. They can't REALLY be relying on Tyler Ervin this much, right? He did pretty much single-handedly fix the return units last year ...
  8. Agreed ... another reason to burn the tape.
  9. Same with JK Scott ... not saying much
  10. That’s free agency for you. All the fans wanted it. Now the Packers will only be able to sign one of Bahktiari, Linsley, and Jones. That's just not truthful. Not all of the fans wanted it and it doesn't preclude signing only one of those 3. That's hyperbole at best. * Most Fans wanted it. ** Depending on the where the salary cap comes in at next year, they may only be able to sign 1 of their 3 big free agents. If I’m exaggerating, it’s not by much.
  11. That’s free agency for you. All the fans wanted it. Now the Packers will only be able to sign one of Bahktiari, Linsley, and Jones. I think we can pump the brakes on this. Zadarius has graded out fine, it's been 4 games, not to mention he likely won a game in New Orleans. Preston has been used differently. They're dropping him into coverage a ton, it's not working and they should stop. My comments are usually pretty measured and I try to avoid being too reactive, but I’d also like to point out Amos had a pick go right throw his hands.

  13. Ha. I immediately thought Rodgers = Favre after the 2 picks. Also, hard to believe JPP is still giving the Packers trouble 9 years later and after blowing his hand off. Some things never change.
  14. They have to win this quarter to have a chance at winning the game. One step at a time.
  15. It's a little disturbing that this team seems to respond very poorly in the face of any adversity. When things are going well, they cruise. When things go wrong on them, they tend to snowball. Honestly, the haven’t lost often under MLF. I don’t think you can make that conclusion just yet. Just trying to put things in perspective. Sometimes good teams lose when they play other good teams on the road.
  16. I had the Packers at 2-4 after 6 games (with losses @Vikings, @Saints, @Bucs, and @Texans). As long as they stay healthy and take care of business next week, I’m still happy with this start.
  17. I think we see another pick today. They’ll have to take some chances in the second half.
  18. I don't get this take. The defense isn't elite, but Rodgers literally threw them 14 points. Now they're down big and the opponent can just go right at their weakness, running the ball with a lead. This game is on #12 if it doesn't turn around. This is a bad day at the office. Let’s all make peace with that. The Packers are not as good as we thought, nor as bad as they look.
  19. I’m pretty sure Jayden Mickens is not Terry Mickens’ son. Both wear #85. Wikipedia says Terry has one son (Tyler).
  20. The media is going to rave about how Brady led his team to victory today. I guess it’s FM radio for me this week because I don’t touch AM after a Packer loss or during election season.
  21. I think they’ll need one. Usually inferior QBs will give you one, but IDK with Brady. I doubt it, actually.
  22. Kind of have felt a poor game coming with the "this team is headed for the Super Bowl" chest thumping since Week 4. Honestly, I thought it was coming against the Falcons.
