Braddock is coming off his second surgery. There should be no way that he gets pushed hard for innings this year. The goal this year should be for him to pitch a full year and then work on stretching him out in the coming years if they feel he can handle being a starter again.
It is somewhat seeing the ball but it is also the basic mechanics of throwing the ball. Lefties will throw the ball to right handers and away from lefties just because of where they release the ball and where the plate is and righties will do the opposite. Because of the movement of the baseball on a changeup the opposite becomes true.
Nice for Manny Parra- an 8 pitch AB that only had 2 balls and ended with a K. It seemed all those ABs would always end in walks for him earlier in the year
Salome heating up and Escobar staying hot in Nashville. Brevard continues to just dominate the competition. In Wisconsin Peralta once again looking good, and Dennis continues to rake outside of the cleanup spot.
baseballs do break- it is the Magnus force which is caused by a rotating body in a fluid that will cause it to break. It also is one of the things that causes bullet drift for snipers
That would be Kevin James. From what I hear from people in Bay he needs quite a bit of work, but he is a high school pitcher. And he would probably sign with the Brewers. BTW- he struck out 14 against Germantown last week- thats the only thing that I have heard about him so far this year
The Richardson pick is interesting and I'm not sure if I like it. He didnt get much playing time- he was ineligible for his sophomore year and he was also the back up QB but he didnt really put up that good of numbers Edit- but I really like the Hall pick
Colorado is probably looking for some way to play like 5 outfielders a day and they are not doing too hot. He is a left handed bat that plays RF. The contract is pretty cheap so I can see them not moving him. He is signed through next year with a club option for 2011 that he can void if he is traded. My question is- does anyone see him getting on the market and what would it take to get him if he does?
I understand that the Brewers like him and so do I. I just wanted to point out that K rate is not bad considering he doesn't walk. And if he did walk he would be a very very good prospect
Schafer is kinda frustrating because if he took walks he would be soooo exciting. Still- he doesnt strike out as much as his walk rate would make you think he would
