  1. My cousin and I nicknamed him the human rally buster because he seemed to have a penchant for striking out/GIDP in crucial situations
  2. By bad- I didnt actually look at the date and I just saw the 1987 birthyear.
  3. Anyone have a scouting report for Meadows? He is a little old for the league and he appears to be a flyball pitcher but his other numbers look good. Im just wondering if he has prospect stuff or not?
  4. Its been speculated that he will sign at the very last moment because of all the risks involved with being a young arm for about 15 mil. There is also speculation that he wont even touch the minors.
  5. All of the cubs fans are wondering what is up with Soto. I can think of two things- 1) He is a lot fatter this year than last 2) It was a two year fluke- look at his minors numbers: linky
  6. Wooten picks up another save after giving up a leadoff single
  7. Anyone know when Komastu is supposed to be back? The Rattlers could really use an offensive boost
  8. I like the mention of Brewerfan in reference to the Lawrie scouting report
  9. From what I saw I feel like he fields his position well enough but where he has lots of troubles is in the cut off and relays from the outfield and positioning etc...
  10. I just cant wait till Odorizzi gets to AA to see how he does with the bat. This was his line his senior year: .409/.531/.922 15hr 40 RBI 22bb 17k 31SB 3CS I definitely see Wooten getting the bump with Gindl and one or two of the Trats pitchers getting pushed (maybe Scarpetta, Frederickson) to make room for Jake or maybe even Seth Lintz
  11. It looks as though he is still having a lot of trouble being efficient with his innings
  12. I'm pretty sure he is in extended spring training but someone can correct me if I'm wrong
  13. I really like the way Peralta has been pitching. Hes a big kid too. And Rob Wooten is looking like a nice reliever like we all thought he would
  14. Small sample size but Watten is doing a good job not only missing bats but also being an extreme groundball pitcher so far Edit- and man- I have been pretty good at jinxing our pitchers lately
  15. All played for the Brewers?
  16. Of course the game which the Trats bats finally start to come through is the game where Nieves struggles
  17. No Gillespie in the lineup- headed to AAA finally?
  18. Scarpetta seems nice and comfortable in the starter role edit- oops- nice jinx job
  19. According to the Rattler Radio blog Watten is going to follow Scarpetta today and then Nieves is going to start one of the double header games tomorrow
  20. I am having the same problem (although not with the headers or anything just with the homepage). Luckily the forum appeared in my dropdown bar
  21. The thing that I like the best about his early starts is that he is really taking his walks as well.
  22. Salome with 2 passed balls tonight and Gamel with an error- ugh
  23. Watching the Marlins game this afternoon on Extra Innings I saw that the pitch speed just goes up over the count and the outs
  24. Is there anyplace where they are going to put pitch speeds in the box? Edit- got beat to the punch
