    Good to see Lawrie playing again Did Cain get hurt? Its seems as though he hasnt played at all since I mentioned his good spring.

    The thing is, there isn't a more sensical geographical conference for those teams. There aren't any college teams west of Denver and CC except for the two Alaska teams. MN and WI are the western most states with hockey teams for them. I think the reason they split up the Alaska teams was to even out the increased travel costs to 18 different teams instead of 8. If those other 8 teams in the conference had to make 2 trips to AK every year, it would cost them considerably more than any other teams in the nation (except the two AK teams). The Alaska schools pay for the opponents travel

    What is funny is that I am in the minority in that I liked JJ Redick but now that he is gone I don't like Duke anymore

    Duke almost lost today to Rhode Island= trailed the whole game until a usual Duke call put Kyle Singler on the line with 10 seconds left to give Duke their lead

    That would be nice and all but there is no way that I am giving up playing UND every year- big rivalry and storied program. And besides- those other teams would fight so hard to keep UW and minnesota in the conference because of the money that they bring in. Edit- and we play Michigan and MSU every year anyways

    I had the same thing happen to my Gateway. I cannot remember exactly what they ended up charging me for a new DC jack and installation but I think that it was around $180. About 6 months later I had the same symptoms so I took it back in but this time it was the AC/DC converter which is the big box thing on the power cord.

    Man- wvpowerblkwel just cant win- getting called out in the same thread for being too positive and too negative I appreciate the insight- too bad you guys won't be a Brewers affiliate next year but I guess thats also a positive for me in that I will be able to attend some games

    I have two TVs in my living room so this is easy- both- BTW- this is an amazing idea during college football Saturdays

    Worked for me- I completely messed up my ankle last fall (couldn't walk for 3 weeks and couldn't run for 6 months). I never changed what I ate during those six months and was still eating like I was running 15-20 miles a week and playing basketball. By the time I could run again I went from 195 to 230. Just slightly adjusted my diet for better portion control so I wasn't just maintaining a weight anymore and dropped back down to 205 in two and a half months.

    I agree but I think that losing Adu hurts more than losing Bradley. Szetela can slot into that D mid position and hold his own but we really do not have much attacking creativity or force with Adu out. I think that you will see Altidore finally getting that start that he deserves and he will play with McBride up top. Edit- and that is hard for me to say too because even though not a lot of people agree with me- I am a big baby Bradley supporter.

    We have the same goal differential as the Nigerians but we have scored more goals than they have which is the next tie breaker so all we need is a tie or a Japan tie/win. It is going to be tough though with Bradley and Adu both being out due to yellow card accumulation.
