    This may belong in the rumor section, but the Trib suggested today that the Crew go after Maddux. Think a TGJ for Maddog may be a good move come June if Pads continue their terrible streak.

    Interesting that we're putting out entire pen in this game...you'd think we'd just throw the towel in. Yea, its only three runs, but we clearly are not going to score. We've already gone through Riske, Stets, Torres and Shouse... Good thing Bush will pitch 9 tomorrow.

    I miss Franklin Stubbs. This is the most painful stretch in a long time.

    Gabe always excelled when given consistent starts. I think he would've been a solid starter for the Brewers circa 2002 and probably will end up hittin .275 in Tampa. But this team really needs someone who fills a need and the need is a spot starter who can pinch hit, run the bases and play decent defense. Gross doesn't have the attitude for that role and Gwynn will for a year or two. I really think TGJ will be traded at the end of the year for someone in love with his potential as a starter. But with LaPorta, Hart and Braun, we really won't have a spot for him. We sold low on Gross, but thats better than not selling at all. Does anyone have the link to that chart showing the Richie Sexson haul?

    It will count as a BS and it should. He lacked control and put runners on the corners with no one out. Pitchers can't blame the fielders for things like that. I really wish we had a bye WEEK coming up so we could get our pen back in order. Yost really needs to let Bush go deep tomorrow even if he is struggling. Mota is really making a case that he is back to his old self.

    Hurricane is always getting tricked by pickoffs. A look at our box score is so annoying. one hit by a batter 1-7 and that was a dink from Braun. Weeks now in sole possession of 5th in HBP in Brewer history surpassing Yount?

    Prince loves breaking his dad's records... This is so depressing...I have no confidence in us getting any hits with men on. Excluding Sunday, we haven't had any clutch hits with two outs for over a week.

    Love the alphabetical lineup. I'm headed to see the sCrUBS vs. Harang to enjoy the nice weather. Hopefully they end up tying. Any thoughts about Turnbow? Why hasn't Yost used him at all? I'm not questioning Yost (that issue has been addressed I believe); I'm just wondering if Turnbow is the odd man out in the pen except in games that we're out of. Maybe we're keeping him fresh so he can peak at the right time this year.

    I really expect Bush to come out and pitch lights out. There is more motivation now than ever with the potential signing of Weaver. I like Kendall's avg. against Looper...seems to be the same avg. as this year so far.
