  1. Yeah I noticed that after I posted. I guess I was just expecting Roenicke to be dumb and play Kotsay in CF, lol.
  2. Brewers vs. Pirates - Weeks 4 Counsell 6 Braun 7 Fielder 3 McGehee 5 Kotsay 9 Boggs 8 Lucroy 2 Narveson 1 Brutal lineup today. Kotsay and Boggs both starting in the OF. I don't understand why Hart keeps needing days off. He's been back a couple weeks now. And Kotsay in CF again is just terrible. I don't mind Counsell getting the start though.
  3. It's similar to what we had with Lucroy and Salome. You don't expect both to make it, but having two obviously improves the chances we'll get one solid big leaguer out of the mix. Yep, for sure. Hopefully one of the two turns into a solid CF for us.
  4. Not that happy with Dillard, but at least it's not Green. Would've preferred DiFelice.
  5. Just started this year. Next Saturday's game is at 6 and un-televised, and the Saturday after that is at 3 again.
  6. Fox has exclusive prime time rights at 6 PM, so almost every game is playing early tomorrow. So Fox moving their Saturday baseball to night games this year messes things up a bit.
  7. There is talk of Braddock not coming back until next Friday, because they don't want him to deal with the loss of sleep on the western road trip.
  8. It still baffles me that Roenicke has Gomez continually in the 2 spot when the only time he has done well is when he hit lower in the order. At least put Lucroy there. Even Kotsay did better.
  9. Haha, I think it was a little unnecessary for the bullpens to run in. Lol, I don't blame Rickie for getting pissed though. I like the fire.
  10. Hopefully DiFelice gets his shot.
  11. Really, the good thing about our CF situation right now is that we actually have 2 guys waiting in the wings (Schafer and Komatsu). That is a lot better situation than what we have at other positions like SS. I would hope that one of Schafer and Komatsu pans out to be our CF of the future, but that remains to be seen. Until then, I think a Gomez/Morgan platoon is the best way to go.
  12. I'd take a lineup with Lucroy 2nd, Hart 6th, Gomez/Morgan 7th, and Betancourt 8th. Or Hart and Lucroy could be flipped at some point.
  13. I've also been to Mammoth Cave. It was amazing. Really enjoyed it. One of the highlights of that vacation I went on. Also hit Louisville Slugger and got a personalized bat. Loved that whole experience also. I'd recommend it to any baseball fan.
  14. I've wanted Lucroy in the 2 spot for awhile, but I feel like if it was gonna happen it would've already.
  15. http://brewersbeat.mlblog.../hart-moves-up-to-sixth/ Rickie Weeks 2B Carlos Gomez CF Ryan Braun LF Prince Fielder 1B Casey McGehee 3B Corey Hart RF Yuniesky Betancourt SS Jonathan Lucroy C Yovani Gallardo RHP Same thing pretty much, but nice to see Hart ahead of Betancourt at least.
  16. Totally agree on Schafer. I have no idea where he'll be sent when he comes back from injury. Komatsu is raking in AA, and the outfield is pretty full in AAA. I have a hard time believing he'll come right back and be productive in AAA. He'll probably have to work his way up again. I could see Schafer and Komatsu both in the Nashville OF in 2012. I doubt either makes an impact in Milwaukee before sometime in 2013.
  17. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/121783894.html Thought I'd pass this along. Very sad to hear about. His strength in this situation is inspiring though. He's a great person, and the MLB family will miss him.
  18. Well, looks like Braddock will be good to go the first day he's eligible to be activated. Our bullpen could use him right now.
  19. I really don't see the Angles giving up Trout for anyone at this point. Much less Fielder. I could see the Angels showing interest in Fielder closer to the deadline though. I don't see Melvin making the deal with the Angles unless they blew him away though, and also if we are out of contention. It makes me wonder if the Angels will be interested in Fielder in the offseason though. I doubt they would be, but the Morales injury problems would make it possible. Also, Fielder could be an option at DH for them even if Morales is able to come back and play well at 1B.
