    Yeah, I think we'll see a Gomez/Morgan platoon next year. We will likely see it the rest of this year after Morgan comes back also. I don't see Schafer becoming an option over those 2 next year. Maybe in 2013 though.

    easy to say in hindsight. I would guess that most people here would have jumped all over RR for having Mitre hit with a man on in the 6th. I would've just had him bunt. No big deal.

    Roenicke's bullpen management suck once again. He says Loe is unavailable, then uses him. Should've left Mitre in for the 7th, Hawkins 8th, Ax 9th, and we probably win the game.

    I'm glad they are at least considering Lucroy for the 2 spot. It better happen if Hart continues to struggle. I'd at least like to see Lucroy hit 6th if Hart ends up in the 2 spot.

    Kotsay in CF is a nightmare I never wanted to come true. Hopefully today is the day Braun and Fielder turn things around. This lineup sucks.

    Yeah, it's gonna get cold in there by the end of the game if it's open. Not sure why they'd leave it open, but oh well. I'll just dress warmer.

    I agree that Counsell should play more than he is now. Roenicke can't expect him to stay effective with how little he is playing right now. Betancourt is a liability offensively, and while he has exceeded expectations defensively, he's still not great. And McGehee has been horrible defensively, but he has started to draw walks, which is a sign that he's starting to get going at the plate. Either way, I'd give Counsell more starts than he is getting now just to keep him sharp. We'll need him off the bench if we expect to compete.

    Not sure there is a better option right now with this line up Yeah, we're pretty much stuck with this until Hart starts hitting. Then we can put him in the 2 hole, Lucroy 7 and Gomez 8.

    No way Melvin even bats an eyelash at him. Somebody will pick him up though.

    That was stupid, but it looked like Sedar might've been yelling at him to go. With all the dumb situations we seem to bunt in, why wasn't Narveson bunting there? 2nd and 3rd for Rickie with 2 out would be better than that happening.

    We'll get to McClellan soon. We've had some outs that were absolutely ripped. Like that last one by Weeks. He was right on that.

    Nope. Never threw a no-hitter. I threw 8 innings with 1 hit once, but that's it. So similar to Gallardo yesterday.So you are Jaime Navarro?     Yeah, something is fishy about this. The only way to get Hart going is to play him, and he's not playing. Doesn't make much sense.

    Rickie Weeks 2B Mark Kotsay RF Ryan Braun LF Prince Fielder 1B Casey McGehee 3B Yuniesky Betancourt SS Jonathan Lucroy C Carlos Gomez CF Chris Narveson LHP Kotsay playing 2 days in a row makes no sense to me. And hitting him 2nd makes even less sense. Swap him and Lucroy and I wouldn't mind it as much.
