Oh joy, Gerut is playing today.

Hardy for Washburn and Morrow. Get that done Doug. Bring up Escobar, and we're all set. Washburn would be an upgrade at the back-end of the rotation for us, and Morrow has great potential. We would likely deal Hardy in the offseason anyway, so I say do it now.

Player Vehicles & Sightings Around Town
PrinceEatMeat replied to chuckcrim's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I used to work at Pick N' Save in New Berlin, and I saw 3T0, Billy Hall, Hardy, and Weeks all at different times. No one knew who any of them were besides me. Billy rolled up in his Escalade, so I knew it was probably a Brewer, and sure enough it was him. I bagged his groceries. He was with his lady friend, who was a knockout obviously. JJ ad Rickie were together, and Hardy's dad was with them which was kind of odd. Anyways, I'm pretty sure they were having a party, because JJ had a cart full of booze, and Rickie was being prepared let's say http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif. 3T0 just looked like a normal guy walking around, so I found that pretty cool. All of the guys were really nice though, and I had conversations with all of them. I think if this happened in the last year or so, there would be no way that they wouldn't be recognized. This happened back in '05. -
I hope the Brewers can win one for them! Especially considering the fact that we are 4-11 on Sundays this season, including 7 straight losses. I'd say we're due for a win! Have a good time!

McClung to DL; Dillard recalled from Nashville
PrinceEatMeat replied to PrinceEatMeat's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Yeah, the last person I wanna see out on that mound to start Tuesday is Carlos Villanueva. I'd rather trade for Ben Hendrickson and have him start. -
http://brewersbeat.mlblogs.com/archives/2009/07/poosible_relief_help_in_colome.html He hasn't pitched since July 3, so he will report to Helena.

McClung to DL; Dillard recalled from Nashville
PrinceEatMeat replied to PrinceEatMeat's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Yeah, if you were watching the game last night, you could tell that something was wrong with his elbow. He messed it up on that wild pitch he threw. Then he seemed to favor it until he left the game with 2 outs. It's not a fake injury at all. If it was, they would've waited until Tuesday when they needed Dillard to place McClung on the DL. -
http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/51703807.html McClung to DL. Burns to pen. Dillard likely to be called up.

http://www.fannation.com/si_blogs/mlb_trade_talk/posts/71022-execs-milwaukees-a-serious-threat-in-halladay-race New story from SI.com says we are now a serious candidate for Doc Halladay.

Prince! Comes through yet again!

It's about time we actually have a consistent lineup. I think McGehee's knee is bad enough that he can't even start in consecutive games anymore. I would assume he isn't starting tonight because he will be tomorrow against the lefty.
-
Well I guess we know we've hit rock bottom when we get blown out by the Pirates.
-
I really wish Bush didn't have a setback.
-
Dude you got me all excited and then I checked, and she isn't even pitching. I like when she pitches better.
-
Wow this will kill the bullpen.
-
Melvin better be on the phone right now...
-
He really needs to learn how to read a ball off the bat.
-
Crap getting picked off cost us a run.
-
And then he blows it and gets picked off.
-
Is that really the lineup now?
