  1. I really doubt this has much to do with it. Teams honor players that work for other organization's all the time.It may not be the reason why, but I couldn't come up with anything else.
  2. I have had similar thoughts about Molitor, and I always brushed it off that it was because he works for the Twins. And before the Twins he was with the Mariners. On a different note, I don't understand why Bobby Thompson is on the Braves Wall of Fame(or what its called). Much less why he was chosen befor many other Braves.
  3. When it was thrown back the ball girl(guy) on the leftfield line tossed Uptons homerun ball back into the stands. The ball was then thrown back onto the field. I wouldn't have been surprised if the ball girl(guy) stopped tossing them into the stands for the rest of the game.
  4. I have a friend that won't buy through stubhub, because he wants his hard ticket. And, that is for everygame he goes to. He ends up paying more, but he doesn't care.
  5. I don't think Mikita has the exclusive with Braun for the past year. http://www.lojosports.com is the eclusive now I believe.
  6. We had our little Weber grill stolen after todays playoff game. We were parked in the Molitor lot.
  7. http://www.ebay.com/itm/R...Shop&hash=item1c1ebe2b96
  8. The older brothers are what made the younger brothers better.
  9. Picture is pretty small. That could be the 1st year birthday Bernie (2004 I think). Mine is boxed up now, so I couldn't look.
  10. It was known that Nilsson wouldn't be back, as he was working on putting together the Austraila baseball team. If memory serves, he tried a comeback with the Red Sox a couple years later.
  11. I've thought about getting it signed also. Fielder always eludes me though.
  12. My biggest problem with Bando was July 31st. 1999. He had 2 guys leaving the team, Dave Nilsson and Jeff Cirillo, both with an OBP of 400 or higher and they get NOTHING for them. Bando lets them both walk away with no prospects. Same can be said for not getting anything for Nomo during the Dean Taylor era. The Brewers had players they could deal for propects knowing they can't resign them.
  13. updated with recent bobbles sold.
  14. I'm pretty sure your going to be right. Even though its a small sample size, he's 0 for 7 on SCN. There were items sent to his college, the Rattlers, Brevard.
  15. His sig is usually small. That was what a common "complaint" there was when he signed at the Clubhouse store. He also signed small for me on my SI, but he did sign on the white.
  16. I thought the few blues that were out early were from people that painted their pinstriped Gantner bobbles.
  17. I'd rather not ship, meet in Milwaukee/North Shore/Brookfield Square areas.
  18. Wednesday was a BP night.
  19. I know its not the financially correct thing to do, but I claim Single (1) and I'm Married (4). I get about between 11-12k back between state and federal. Its a forced savings for me as I would piss most of it away anyways. Bank interest rates are at 0.50% anyway.
  20. I don't mind the scalpers in the parking lot, but the ticket window is different. They were loud and obnoxious at the window tonight. The scalpers in the lot I just shake my head no and they go away.
  21. I never realized that day games in the summer draw so well. I looked back at the Diamondbacks series after the 4th of July and the Brewers drew 36,000 for that day game. The matinee games I think are more for getaway days. It looks like the Brewers do about 10,000 more for a day game in the summer when schools out versus when school is still in session.
