I shot a 62. Yet I am not a solid ball striker. Hiyooooo!Sadly, that was on 9-holes. I do suck. My swing looks really good...but results are very bad. I've never taken lessons, so I really have no idea what I am doing. -

Stay on topic(s) Stoops, or I turn this thread around and WE GO HOME. Topics today: 1) Ryan Braun deal, obviously. Seems like the risk reward ratio is solid for the Brewers. Does this put pressure on Prince? Can the Brewers afford to sign both? Would you rather they put money into free agent pitchers? These are my initial thoughts... 2) Will the Cubs go into the tank once they play as many road games as the Brewers have? Again, this is just an initial thought w/out research. 3) National topic: Manny being Manny - makes a great catch, runs a few steps, high fives fans in the leftfield bleachers, turns and throws to cut off to double up opponent. At this point, can you really be critical of him? He is who he is...and the play AND his reaction are hilarious. Plus I love his enthusiasm for the game. To me, Aubrey Huff deserves to be VERBALLY DESTROYED for getting doubled up...the ball takes 4-evuh to get back in.

Here's another question for y'all... Why on Earth would a Brewer fan EVER boo Gagne? If you believe, as I do, that he's one of the keys to getting YOUR TEAM to the playoffs, what good does booing do? It does no good. Frankly, it hurts your chances. So why do fans do that? One has to wonder how it affected Turnbow...

Okay, here's my stupid theory that I will drop today on my stupid radio show no ESPN 1070 in Madison. I think Yost HAD to let Gagne close, simply because this team is toast if Gagne doesn't succeed in that role. Many think Torres would succeed as a closer...well, he's in his late 30's and has never fully succeeded in that roll. Plus, that would weaken whatever role he takes in your bullpen. And if Gagne was indeed tipping his pitches as speculated, doesn't that make Yost's decision different than when Gagne said he didn't deserve the ball? So, for the team, and Yost to succeed, Gagne has to succeed. Please shoot holes in my stupid theory...

Well, I don't think it took all that much in the way of intestinal fortitude to come here. It's a message board for chrissakes. You guys aren't going to give my avatar a swirly or something...are you? And in terms of the size of our audience, don't let your wife lie to you; size matters. We're # 1 (Men 18-54) in our time slot...over every other show in the market. So make all the jokes you want about our audience size, but we is # 1 with dudes! INYOURFACESTATSNERDS! Boo yah, and all that. With all that said, I sure hope our show becomes a place you all feel welcome to participate on...in...around. We are VERY into the Brewers and welcome your opinions. I mean c'mon, Ned Yost is the gift that keeps on giving. Even tonight, he actually goes to Gagne to save the game. I, for one, did not see that coming.
