  1. Idk man. One team gets out and we were 1/2. They went down 0-1 to a good a Boston team and crushed them. I think that was a big stage. This does suck. But it really feels like a growing pain. That I got to see it coming alowly over a week gives a bit more perspective on the big picture. I can't think of a team that's gone from can't win a series to in the Finals. Trouble is, like about the whole team is FA... crazy differentvteam potentially next year. I don't really buy that. I think they did a nice job of bringing in role guys but nobody on that team is that great. It's Giannis and guys who can play but that's it. I mean yeah, Brogdon and Mids are good players but Giannis is the gas making this thing go. Part of this is replenishment too. There are guys on the roster with futures as productive players who don't play a whole lot now. There's always going to be turnover but in the NBA if you have a Giannis you're a top 3 seed. They'll figure this out and have a very good team whether it's this group or a tweaked one. One thing I know is Giannis is hurting right now. He will take those missed FTs harder than anybody. He'll keep getting better and I'm so glad we have him.

  3. The number of times we came down needing at least a good look and put some atrocious shot or didn't get one off was truly astounding. Lopez was more assertive down the stretch than Giannis inside. That's a problem.
  4. IDK about that, but it certainly didn't help. The silver living is that he'll think it is either way and come back better. This really sucks, but I won't lose sight of what we have in him. Hopefully years from now everyone's talking about this series changed his career.
  5. Good night. You hope this stays with the core for a long time. It will sting for them worse than us.
  6. Yeah...this ain't good. Winning a tie 4th on the road in the playoffs...gonna have to earn this one now.
  7. Identical to position as Game 6 with two extra points. Better than losing but I am already sick.
  8. What is it that people dislike about Reggie and C-Web? I know hating announcers is America's past time, but I really like them calling games.
  9. This is essentially both teams at near their best. The Bucks are 50% from three, better than they've been in any loss. And the Raptors are at 44%, which I don't think they've hit all series. The Bucks have been pretty dominant on the glass and that's the separation at the moment. Playing well defensively, but they've been at least solid there in most of the games.
  10. He's a factor. He has underperformed, no question. But when you get 25 rebounds on your worst night you're a factor.
  11. It's hard to take anything seriously after a person says something like this.
  12. The balls are juiced. Some magazine proved as much with x-rays. That is an insane jump though.
  13. It is basically the same. Game 3 was also quite similar to Game 5 of the 2001 ECF. A barnburner that the Bucks lost by the slimmest margins ultimately deciding their fate.
  14. They would've pretty easily withstood FVV if Giannis wasn't shooting 45% from FT and they were putting up even normal shooting numbers. But they ain't. Not all that unlike baseball in that sense.
  15. If the Bucks can pull one 55% shooting night out of their rear this will come back to Milwaukee. That's basketball. You can start hitting shots at any moment.
  16. One of the domino effects of this series, IMO, if they do end up losing, is that Giannis can kiss future MVPs goodbye until they win a title. Or at least a conference. Missing more than half your FTs and air balling two of them in a conference finals is the kind of thing that sticks with people. Fair or not, there will be a playoff monkey on his back, whether or not there actually is one. But the "he's not a closer" thing will reach fever pitch until they finish the job. That hasn't really gained traction to this point but once the honeymoon phase is over people move on to bagging on guys. It happened to James, it happened to Rodgers, it's just part of the superstar role.
  17. Can't tell anybody that here. So long as they don't make layups, you let the other team take every uncontested 3 they want. Who cares if they make em. They won 60 games with that method, you didn't know? Sweet straw man. But for the millionth time, literally none of the data in this series would support the argument that leaving guys "wide open for threes" is why they are going to lose. TOR is hitting them at about the same clip everybody else did. You know what isn't happening the same? The Bucks making their own shots.
  18. I'm take it or leave it on Middleton. I believe his value to the Bucks is considerable and higher than it is elsewhere. It's reasonable you take a step back if he leaves. But that dude disappears way too often for how good he's supposed to be. We need a Robin and he is just so inconsistent. I'd understand it if they go either way and I'd embrace going in another direction.
  19. Yeah this team would benefit tremendously from a Dell Curry type. Just some vet who doesn't miss open shots. He'd get plenty of them.
  20. That would be the quintessential Wisconsin thing to do. Like going into the NFL's loudest stadium and blowing a 4th quarter lead in the NFCCG. Or forcing an NLCS Game 7 and losing at home. Or taking out an all-time great undefeated Kentucky team to then lose the title by choking away a late lead. So, I guess, brace for it.
  21. You aren't wrong, but there have been plenty of times where Giannis draws that and needs to pass but instead Bledsoes his way to the basket and either coughs up the ball or gets fouled and doesn't convert.
  22. I'm not pessimistic about the future, just don't think it's a given the Bucks will be here for six years like some teams. And it's also hard to feel good when a 60-win team has a 2-0 lead and goes down in six. That should never happen. Especially being 2OT away from 3-0. The way they lost in cathartic fashion, then a lay down game and choking a 4th quarter away at home, smells of a team that isn't mentally tough. They should have won this series. It's not like they lost to LeBron's last crusade or something. They should have beaten this team.
  23. If Giannis is gassed it's because that defense is making him work his ass off. That's exhausting for anybody. Just watching these games you get the sense every basket for him is like climbing a mountain. He's working super hard for every little point.
