I honestly think Prince could have turned around when he realized how out he was and might have made it back to third. -
Yeah. I don't know what the pitch count was but he was looking awfully gassed about two batters ago.

Have to be Maddux correct?I don't know the answer, I was just asking around. I thought of Maddux, but he won those Cy Youngs earlier in his career and he used to hit 93-94 with his fastball. You've reminded me of Glavine though, who did win one and I don't think he ever hit 90 routinely.

I don't care what anyone tries to say about range, the defense is better. Yes the range is bad, and no the defense isn't great. But the disparity is much too large for it to be a case of "not making errors on balls you can't get to." Also, who was the last pitcher to win a Cy Young that threw as slow or slower than Marcum?

These should have been cutouts or some kind of voucher that you could find and redeem with a photo ID at the park for one of the gnomes. At least some attempt to enforce the rule. I didn't try to get one and don't care to get one, but anyone who collects anything Brewers had to know this was going to happen.

Mine broke. I'm looking to replace it. To trade I have a Melvin, Hart and Axford, all regulars. So I'll probably have to buy, but if anyone's interested, that's what I have. Thanks.

Nah. Roenicke said Nieves would catch for Narveson as long as he was pitching so well. He didn't want to tinker with that. Doesn't mean anything as far as Kottaras goes.

You've gotta give to get. Losing Cain really stinks. But we are getting Grienke. The other guys in the deal don't bother me. Prospects are prospects. None of these players are going to be as good as Grienke, relatively speaking. This is a win now move that shows Melvin isn't playing around. This is a move that says we are serious about getting back to the playoffs. You have to love it.

All those jumping on Marcum, I'd just like to point this out: The number one comparison to Marcum on Baseball Reference similarity scores is none other than Yovani Gallardo. You have to give to get. I feel like some of the fans are impossible to satisfy, short of us signing Cliff Lee. It's like everyone expects a Sabathia trade every time we go looking for a pitcher. I like this move regardless of who we gave up. Brett Lawrie isn't the missing piece, folks. At least Marcum is part of it. Get another pitcher and I think we can be OK.

Guys, I issued refunds this morning. I was rejected by the bank twice, then had to contact "Jessie" and could barely understand a word she was saying. I'm sorry, but I don't want the blood on my hands if I lost $400. I'd rather just give you your money back. I didn't realize what a hassle this would be. I sent all payment back via PayPal. One of you paid with a check which I deposited yesterday, I'll work on getting that $$ back to you. Sorry again, but my conscience was just telling me not to go through with this. -
