  1. They're a loose favorite. The division is wide open.
  2. The difference is to me is not that one guy made the playoffs and one guy did not. It's the number high-pressure, tense at bats Braun had to face, and on how many of those he delivered. Kemp never had to do that, granted he didn't have the opportunity, but his numbers aren't better enough than Braun's for me to discount Braun's clutch factor. To me, that's the separating factor. If it were a wider gap, I would give it to Kemp, but it's just not that wide.
  3. I was there as well and echo the comment above. Only Collins expressed any gratitude. The rest were jerks, which surprised me, because Grant is usually very friendly.
  4. Well, on the bright side, he's of no use to them dead, so they probably won't harm him.
  5. I know there are for sure six all-fan bobblehead dates. My guesses: Gallardo Marcum Braun MVP edition Sausage repeat Something to commemorate 30th anniversary of the 82 team Something really stupid/Jose Reyes or some other FA they get Wouldn't be surprised if they do something heavy with the 82 team and all or most of the bobbles are throwbacks. It's a way they can avoid doing all of their current players in too short a time period.
  6. Correct. I just wanted to know if I could bring something in, or if I just get handed some lame photo.
  7. http://www.nickcollinsfoundation.com/blog/2011/10/join-nick-collins-at-the-new-berlin-2011-thanksgiving-food-drive/ I was just wondering how this works in regards to what you can get signed. Can you bring in your stuff to get signed or is just a stack of crappy photos they have ready to give out?
  8. I was at the game last night and one thing really stood out immediately. From the very first inning, the Brewers had a couple of players leaning over the railing but most of them were sitting down, some by themselves, on the bench. On the other side, literally every single Cardinals player was leaning over the rail intently hanging on every pitch. Maybe it's nothing, maybe I was looking too much into things, but I definitely noticed it. I would hate to think the Brewers quit, and I don't think they did as they did battle back early, but it was unsettling to see.
  9. The hardest part of this for me isn't that we lost. It's that Prince Fielder will never play another game in a Brewers uniform and that makes me incredibly sad.
  10. Team is getting outplayed by a superior group. Our goose is cooked.
  11. The outcome of the NLCS was sealed the moment "Tony Plush" started ranting and raving about Pujols being a woman and watching the Brewers in the playoffs from the couch. Meanwhile Morgan has been miserable in the playoffs and the woman is destroying the Brewers.
  12. This game was lost because our "ace" (we don't have one) gave up four runs in the first inning. Not because of the guy who doesn't take the field.
  13. The Brewers will win this game. Not convinced they will hold us under 7 runs. But we have to get Wolf out of the game. He doesn't have it and should have been pulled after 1.
  14. well, it was ages ago...but they did win a series in Philly already this season. so that kinda contradicts both of your points there.I'd like to see a breakdown of how many road series the Brewers won against teams .500 or better. Or how many teams above .500 they won a series against, period. I have a feeling it would support my point very clearly.
  15. Like I said. I expect to be at Miller Park on Friday. The Brewers cannot beat any decent team outside of this city. For whatever absurd reason, they can't. If they do win Game 5 they will lose to the Phillies in 5 games at the most.
  16. I need both Randy Wolf bobbles. I have a Chroizo Stitch-n-Pitch, a regular Corey Hart and a Doug Melvin to trade. Let me know. Thanks.
  17. Never seen so much hatred for a first-year manager on a 95-win team. It blows my mind. You would think people would consider how he's improved team chemistry considering how much Macha destroyed it. Then again, the manager is always a whipping post.
