    Pretty sure I know the bobblehead you're talking about. It isn't Robin Yount though. It was called Brewmeister or something like that, and I think it was supposed to be a more life-like rendition of Bernie Brewer. But the outfit you're describing matches that bobble. There were a lot on eBay during last season, they usually sold for $30-40.

    Those guys will never get in. But other players from that era surely will. Griffey Jr., Frank Thomas deserves to, Jeter, A-Rod, Pudge ... there are plenty.

    Not really, because even though I loved Shouse, I hated how quickly they'd pull him out of the game. He was one of the most reliable relievers in a very shaky bullpen. Especially when you take him out because a right-handed hitter is up, and you replace him with Guillermo Mota ... Things like that just make me shake my head.

    Baseball today is different than it was 50, 25 or 15 years ago. I can accept that. But I do think there is severe over-managing in today's game, the last thing to make me think of this is the Brewers decision not to sign Gabe Kapler. I understand he may have wanted to play somewhere else, but the Brewers really made no effort to keep him and showed no interest. Then he signs with TB for $1 million, what I consider to be one of the best bargains of the offseason. I personally think the Brewers reason for not signing him - that he hits from the wrong side - is ridiculous. So we have a lot of right handed hitters, big deal. Would you rather have Gwynn Jr., Trot Nixon and Chris Duffy, because they hit lefty? This is just the tip of the iceberg. I get sick when I see relievers who come in to face one batter, red hot pitchers removed from 1-1 games because "a lefty is up," 6-7 pitchers used in a game, etc. There's just too much of it in today's game. As side notes, I am really displeased with the Brewers lack of effort in keeping Kapler, but even more so with the Shouse situation. He seemed like an obvious must-keep, and I don't understand why they're letting him get away. I would love to see Counsell back, but I suppose he's too expensive for a backup UIF with the current economic state.

    After reviewing a little further I think $150 is a little low. I would say there's no way that would sell on eBay for under $200. I would guess $250ish.

    I will never regret trading for CC Sabathia. He brought great memories to this city and franchise, things we would not have seen without him. At the end of the day, that's what it's all about for me as a fan. Don't care if LaPorta goes to the HOF ... we did what we had to do to make the postseason. After 26 years, it was worth it.

    OK ... this kinda sucks, but it's all I could do with MLB video. I would need a saved version of the raw video to make this a lot better, which I could easily do, but the only place I could find the clips was MLB.com. So I had to record video off MLB.com, making this really crappy. If anyone has the video of this in a saved format, they could send it to me and I could make this better. I'm saving this version to my PC, as MLB will surely take this down within minutes, hours or days. If anyone wants it, just let me know and I'll put it on a file hosting site. It's the best I can do with what I've got. I added Sabathia's DP ball for kicks.

    I'd say $150-200 is fairly accurate. If you sold it during Brewer fever - a playoff push, right before a season of high expectations, when the economy isn't in the pooper, etc. I could see it push $300.

    On one hand it seems like a no-brainer to go with the future, but on the other hand, why rush it if you're not a contender anyway? Kinda the boat the Brewers were in a few years back with all the kids coming up. I would guess he's not up opening day, but he will be a few months into the season.

    Forever had a 4-pack of Brewers Big Heads this year ... each one had an alternate. I'm looking for the blue uniform version of Rickie Weeks to complete my set. I went to MP last week and they didn't have any bobbles in the Loge Level store. They were available in the team store for $30 during last season. I'd pay that for one, or I've got this stuff to trade: 06 Cooper pinstripe 07 Snappers Fielder 07 Huntsville Fielder Thanks.

    2009 looks like it could be a tough one. Here's to hoping I'm wrong. Great season, great memories. CC was amazing and I'll be sad to see him go. I'm so happy we locked in Braun, he should be making plenty of memories for us over the next seven seasons (and hopefully beyond).

    I don't think so. It just seems that way because our offense is inept right now. The Phillies really have not impressed me. They've basically outplayed the Brewers for one inning in each game. In one inning we made an error and in the other we "walked" a pitcher with two outs. Some of those ball calls to Myers were ridiculous.

    I picked up one of those when we traded for him. Also got the MV Scrappers bobble of CC.
