I don't get the fascination with big scoreboards. I mean it's cool, but I don't think it's really needed. When I go to Miller Park I'm there to watch the field, not the scoreboard. Just give me the basic statistics and I'm good. I have to imagine this money could have been put to better use.
I would not spend more than $500. Even that's a little pricey for what they need. This $300 Toshiba would work just fine. I'm not sure there will be much difference in ease of use between brands, and if so it probably wouldn't be worth the extra money. Just get an inexpensive laptop and show them around the basics and they'll be set.
How many games out would we have to be for you to not want to be sellers? Not necessarily to be buyers, but just not sellers. Obviously we're quite a ways back so it's unlikely for us to get there, but hypothetically what's that number for you?
Hey on the plus side, Escobar is having a better offensive year than Hardy. Granted JJ has been injured much of the year, but Escobar is still better in average, OBP, and OPS.
I don't understand at all why people would want to move McGehee. He's cheap, productive, and under our control for a few years. Is that not exactly the kind of players we want
Alright, it was a perfect game, he had to know it was a perfect game, shouldn't any call that's close go in favor of the pitcher if you're unsure? Especially on the last freaking out.
