  1. 88-74, narrowly missing the WC. I'm a pessimist. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  2. I'm probably wrong, but wasn't he caught in a lie about his age too, while doing an interview?
  3. Congrats, and thanks for the opportunity to win!
  4. Haven't they signed as many class A free agents as they can already?
  5. I'm not sure how far down the road from my last treatment everything will turn back to normal. But I do know one thing, I can't wait until I don't have to take my Neupogen shots, or have 6 hairs per eyebrow! I did have a positive attitude throughout the entire process, but around Christmas I did get EXTREMELY depressed, like those damn smart doctors told I would. I have never been so depressed in my entire life. Well, except for that one time when brewerfan went from a .com extension to a .net extension and I didn't find out for a bit! I just want everyone to know that if you, or a family member comes down with something, it is NOT the end of the world. If anyone has any questions, it doesn't bother me at all to talk about it, in any way shape and form. Just had a treatment today, so I'm pretty sure I mispelled a lot of crap, and I'm too tired to go back and fix my errors!
  6. Thank you all very much!! I just can't wait until my eyebrows come back in full force... I sort of resemble the guy from Powder at the moment. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  7. Well isn't life fantastical! Just wanted to let everyone know I just had a CT scan, and roughly 95 percent of everything is gone. Apparently it will stay that way, and remain in the form of scar tissue. I'm going on disability for the last 2 months of my treatment. Constantly winded from doing SMALL activities...
  8. Is anyone having problems running this on an Intel Mac?
  9. Watch Scrooged every year. Bill Murray is a god!
  10. Hmmm, if the Yanks get Sheets too, that is going to be one hell of a rotation..
  11. I wish I could talk to my buddy Mike, he used to be a technician at Saturn of Greenfield. Crap he is at work! But if it only happens when its warmed up, check the CTS. Or, possibly the MAF.
  12. Why, for the love of god why, can you only navigate Itunes through a Wi-Fi on the Iphone? I can only hope Steve Jobs wets the bed tonight. Muahahahahah!
  13. Well, it has been one week and one day since my first treatment. I am eating A LOT. It is unbelievable! I haven't gone to work in a week though, on the account of bad constipation. My stomach has been out of whack for awhile. Not sure if it is gas, or what. Stress perhaps, not sure. Instead of pooping 1-2 times a day, I go once every 2 days. Not a huge deal, but taking senokot(?) isn't exactly helping. Called my dr. and he suggested Miralax. But other then the constipation, I feel pretty good.
  14. Thanks mothership and wisconsinfan. Didn't know that. But if today is an indicator of how future treatments will go, all of the foods that I have eaten today and yesterday (I've had 3 meals), haven't tasted different at all. Except for milk. Not bad tasting, just a little different. Almost as if I can taste the cream of it easier..
  15. Haha, will do! Thanks.
  16. Dexamethasone, and Emend. Those are for 2 days after every treatment. Prochlorperazine maleate, and Lorazepam as needed throughout the days between treatments.
  17. Got my first treatment yesterday. No problems with the injections at all. A little nauseous today though, even with the pills they gave me for it. The biggest difference I've noticed so far with food, is milk tastes somewhat different. Not bad, just different. Sucks considering I LOVE milk. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif I think I might have to drop classes at MATC too. Not sure I'm going to be able to handle that, plus work. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  18. Anyone use them for a cell phone service? They have reasonable plans, and pretty good phones. I'm just wondering if it's worth it to drive to oshkosh to get to a store. Let me know if you have any good things, or horrible things to say about them. Thanks!!
  19. Yeah, they wanted to just numb the area, but I told them to sedate me or I'm not doing it. lol Supposedly I was replying to every question and wiggled around when they put the needle in. Don't remember a thing though..
  20. Got the result from my bone marrow biopsy. NEGATIVE! I was extremely relieved! Sept. 3rd is when I start treatment. I feel like Brewerfan is my personal journal for this crap.
  21. Liquid Health makes GREAT stuff. I currently take the daily multiple. Such a wonderful product. That makes sense about being neutropenic. We will see what the dr. says about nutrition while on chemo. It really is weird, having this. I don't drink, smoke, or any sort of recreational drug crap. Ive always eaten well. I was thinking about this at work today, that they don't truly know what this is caused by. Man, life can flip you on your backside in a heartbeat!
  22. Just a slight update. My crap insurance won't let me go to Zion, so UW Madison it is. When I start chemo, I am also going to taking a multivitamin, as well as a vegetable/fruit shake every morning consisting of blueberries, carrots, and kale. Hopefully this will help offset some of the side effects of the chemo. Once I start, I'll let you know what my daily regimen is, and how my it helps my body get through the chemo.
  23. Buy a Mac, and transfer all of your files to that. I've had 6-7 pcs in my short life, and one mac. Hands down the Mac is a bit better quality. Just my two cents. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
