  1. I got back Ken Macha on a ball, Dave Bush on a ball and Trevor Hoffman on a ball inscribed to me in the last week from Maryvale. Does anyone know if Gamel ever signs TTM?
  2. Gammons made it sound like Ian Kennedy could be part of a deal with another team, I'd trade Hall for him, either Gamel or Escobar have to step up then
  3. I still haven't heard back at my couple addresses, fingers crossed!
  4. Anyone know if any of last years draft pics sign through the mail or if theres a good way to try this spring? I'm guessing through Maryvale.
  5. Does Melvin have a bobble 'Stach or just head?
  6. ANyone know if Lawrie is there yet?
  7. I doubt anyone will have to worry about a sellout. I've ben to opening day the last few years in a row and if there are 1000 people there even at the start of the game its a miracle, its usually about 30 degrees. By about the 5th inning there are 100 people left. Hopefully this year is differant though
  8. Hello, I know this is probably something most of you know but where do the players that will end up in Wisconsin or Huntsville do their training camps in the spring? Do they train near the parent team, or not at all? Just curious, thanks, Dan
  9. Were these prices from Mikita for last years signings? I tried contacting them about the private signing and got this response: They will be the same as this past signing. Your ball or flat is $75 Bats, jersey's, helmets $100 $25 per inscription such as '07 NL ROY
  10. Rickey Henderson is a shoo-in, most dominant lead off man of all time and a game changer. Anyone whos good enough to refer to themselves in 3rd person all the time has to be in the Hall. Bert Blyleven is being robbed more than anyone in the history of the voting. Hes the poster child for star trapped on a crappy team and being hurt by it in the ballot. He was one of the most dominant strikeout guys of his or any era and had a ton of wins for his crappy teams. I think Rice will get in this year out of pity from the voters but if he gets in they better be prepared to let Dawson and Morris in next year cause they are at least as deserving as Rice. Tim Rock Raines is a tough one though. Without Rickey over shadowing him he would have been the premier leadoff man of his day. BUt heres another guy who plays on a crappy team, and still dominates, being over looked. If Raines and Blyleven would have been Red Sox or Yankees in their prime they would be locks. McGwire deserves it as much as that pains me to say. and I still remember Donny Baseball in my youth, he was the man for about a decade, to bad his career was so short.
  11. http://www.mikitasports.c...raun_batsigned_large.html Mikita Sports offers GU Braun Bats for $499, they are signed though
  12. I have a full page newpaper add signed by Brett Favre from 1995. I had it laminated also to stop the yellowing. Once you frame it under glass it does look nice
  13. 1. Bill Hall / 3rd Base 2. Mike Cameron / leadoff spot. wathing these 2 bat at the bottom of the same order together was horrible most the year. you could pencil in 5-6 K's a night easy. Cameron was a little better in the leadoff spot though as he somehow learned to take a pitch at the end of the season. It was Hard not to put Rickie Weeks on this list though.
  14. ANyone else see these photos on jsonline? http://graphics.jsonline.com/graphics/photographer/28/28996_large.jpg The Phillie Phanatic crushes a Milwaukee Sausage. http://graphics.jsonline.com/graphics/photographer/29/29008_large.jpg Milwaukee's sausage race is mocked in Philly.
  15. greatest sports moment of my life, Go Brewers!!
  16. As frustrating as this past month has been, the Brewers have gotten a break from some team or another almost every time we have needed it to stay within reach of this thing. Well here we are, all the cards are on the table, and I'm all in till the end. The stars keep aligning it seems. The Marlins have nothing to play for other than being the spoiler, and that may make them just dangerous enough to help us. We just need to be able to beat the Cubs triple A team.
  17. Lets pack the park tonight and get it rocking for Yovanni!!!
