  1. Geesh...if this guy played us 162 games he'd bat .400.
  2. Moeller can get this done if he takes the same approach as last AB. Attack the first strike he throws.
  3. C'mon Prince...drive the 1st strike you see.
  4. Just a note: that Jenks steal was definitely a hit-and-run...Koskie swung at one high and away out of the zone.
  5. Wow...Cards are playing alot like we did in games 1 and 2.
  6. I have a really good feeling about Koskie this AB.
  7. What I loved about that AB by Jenks...he didn't take one strike. Fouled off the strikes and then took 4 balls for a walk. Nice job Jenks.
  8. Be Aggressive...B-E-Aggressive! Let's tack on some more.
  9. I don't wanna see a single batter from this point forward against Suppan take a called 2nd strike. You're just playing into his hands. Getting ahead in the count is this guy's only shot. Unfortunately we sit back and let him do it too often. Let's hope no more.
  10. Moeller attacks the 2nd strike...doesn't allow himself to fall behind what would have been 1-2 and thus gets a hit. It's not rocket science.
  11. Brady...drive the first strike you see.
  12. Hey Prince! Goes after the 2nd strike and first pitch in his zone and gets a hit. Keep it up guys.
  13. Bill Hall...watch 2 strikes float by...down 0-2...pop up.
  14. Now lets jump on this guy. Go after him...don't sit up there with the bat on your shoulder until you've got 2 strikes against you.
  15. That's funny cause short ABs is exactly what led to Koskie's double today and his three hits on Sunday. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Sometimes against pitchers with lesser stuff who are throwing strikes you just have to go after them. It didn't work out for Corey there, but his appraoch has been more successful than just about everyone else. If a lesser pitcher is having trouble finding the strike zone, yeah then patience is your friend. But if that lesser pitcher is throwing strikes all you're doing is setting yourself up for 0-2, 1-2, and 2-2 counts.
  16. Someday before he stops wearing a Cardinal uniform we dang well better touch Suppan up.
  17. The only positive about the last two games not being on TV, is not having to listen to Darren Sutton drool over that .257 hitter Eckstein.
  18. That's what I like to hear. I'm worried about Cappy and Tomo before him though.
  19. I don't think we'd sneeze at having Livan Hernandez near the top of our rotation. That's who their teeing off on today. And it's not just today. I've got Wright and Delgado in fantasy and they've been white hot from the get-go.
  20. Make it 6-0. We all think Pujols, Edmonds, and Rolen is tough...Beltran, Delgado, and Wright are absolutely mashing the ball. Add Floyd and you've got a regular murderer's row. So far today that foursome is 6-7 with 6 rbi's and 1 HR apiece.
  21. Who's faster? Maybe one of them reaches via the swinging bunt.
