Well earlier in the game Eckstein robbed Moeller and the Crew of at least 1 run and then promptly led off with a triple in the Card's tying rally...maybe Carlos' turn?
On Gameday it looks like Carlos went up about 15 rows into the stands to grab that one. Edit: If you want to see what I mean go to Gameday and click on "home outs". You'll know right away which one it was.
Wow...Brady Clark is a terrible baserunner. He's so bad that despite the horrible occurrence that just happened I can't help but chuckle. It's so bad you have to laugh.
Man this so nerve racking. We're so close to either running our record to 6-3 without even playing well at all. Or we could lose our 4th straight and feel like the losing could go on for awhile.
I think it's safe to say, whether he's at fault or not, with the raised expectations expressed by Ned and Doug, Butch will get canned if this keeps up.
Top of the Cards lineup due up in the bottom of the 8th. We need to find a way to squeeze out a run or two here. Hate to see them punch one across in the bottom half and then bring in the closer to finish us off in the 9th.
I know that if the situations were reversed...the Cards would come right back and regain the lead. We managed to keep it tied, now let's jump right back at them.
