oh brother.. wait.. sarcasm?? hmmm, hard to tell.. What's so hard to figure...wondering if maybe we would have been better off taking that Arroyo deal without prospects or hoping Jackson pans out.
  2. Brewer Fever
Bronson Arroyo instead of Dave Bush is looking real good right now. I sure hope Jackson pans out.

Whoa, look at that...fundamental baseball! Wouldn't it be nice if our #3 hitter could do that?
  4. Brewer Fever
Hmm, 1 out, man at third. Do the Mets have a hitter in the 3-hole who can at the very least make contact and get the runner in...unlike us?

I dream of the day when I arrive to see Prince batting third. Quick poll, who's the better hitter, right now, today...Prince or Jenkins? Who hits for a higher average, gets on base more for Carlos behind him, and who makes more contact? Yeah, that's what I thought.

We better come out tomorrow like someone just shot our dog. I expect a lot of fire. Win at all costs.

If Cirillo gets that walk, does he score on JJ's double? Do we pinch run? Does Cirillo or said PR advance to 2nd on Rickie's deep fly? If he had gotten on, I think we had the potential to get that runner around. Damn ump. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif

Now get him in! I'm mad now.

The tape of this game better get sent to MLB offices and this ump better get reviewed.

Ideally we have 12 participants this Sunday...get a little 6 on 6 going. That way we could simulate game conditions with running bases and throwing to bases. With 6 per side we could have a pitcher, 1st baseman to throw to, a SS, a 3rd and two OF. We would just call anything hit to the right of 2nd an out. Even 10 would work. If we can only pull off 5 on 5, you just throw to the pitcher instead of 1st. Please, please let us have 12 this Sunday.

Prince Fielder is such a wuss.

Looks like I'll be flying solo as well. The girlfriend has her last class at school and has a presentation to do that night.

I can log in for that chat. That time is not a problem for me.

    We won on a Sunday!!!!

Scrubs lose...bout time an NL Central team besides Pittsburgh loses.

    Way to go Wessel!

We don't play Florida until late August and early September...just around the time all their young players will start feeling pretty comfortable in the bigs. Oh, and St. Louis gets to beat up on Washington starting tomorrow. This is getting ridiculous. I haven't checked but I suppose someone in our division gets Florida over the weekend. Edit: I just looked and Florida plays Colorado this weekend, but St. Louis gets them next weekend. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif

I'm kinda glad T-Bow finally gave up an earned run. He wasn't going to carry a 0.00 ERA all season and we still got the win for Sheeter.
  19. Brewer Fever
And now the Scrubs have tied things up with Florida and Cincy is about to close out the Nationals. Speaking of Florida and Washington, our division seems to be cleaning up on those two teams. By the time we play them they'll probably be red hot.
  20. Brewer Fever
And Florida has pulled out to a 3-1 lead over the Scrubs.

For Tomokazu with regard to his fine effort tonight... http://img78.imageshack.us/img78/5992/kazoo34hf.jpg I only wish I could have been there with kazoo in hand.

I just got home from class...did Daron mention kazoos tonight or are you refering to the thread on the majors board?

Wow, what an awesome gesture. You guys do realize that by cranking out this great site you've given plenty, right? This means we better win that game. Oh, and there will be two of us...my girlfriend and I. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

The AB started with men at first and second but they advanced on a ball in the dirt that Damian couldn't find. Then they just went ahead and walked Dunn.

It sounds like quite a few posters were at the game. We also had 9 otherwise fairly active posters at the softball practice.
