  1. Just got back from the game, couple of observations... Awesome crowd. We didn't have tickets so we were part of the walkup. I was shocked to get to the booth and be told it was either standing room only or lower infield box. This was over a full hour before gametime. We took the box seats and were row 17 right behind the plate. Being that close to Sheets' dominance was worth the $70 for 2 tickets. That field really is dark. I can understand why some teams have complained about the lighting. Those lights atop MP must be at least 50% further from the playing surface than at County Stadium. I've been to MP many times but from right behind the plate you can really tell the difference. I was real excited to see Hall in the lineup for a 2nd consecutive game. I had a good feeling before the game and he proved me right. I thought getting back-to-back games might finally let him get settled in on the 2nd night. 1-2 and 2 walks...he looked 10 times more capable up there than Helms. Hall NEEDS to be in the lineup tommorrow. Glad to see Ginter go after the 1st fastball in that last ab. Too often he watches the 1 fastball he gets go by and then he's lost trying to hit breaking stuff. Now I have to go look up Halls batting average in games where he played a full game the night before. I bet it's pretty solid. It would be nice to give the guy a shot at getting in a groove up there.
  2. All this game is missing is an error and a handful of swinging K's by Helms. Sorry to be so negative but this one just has me tee'd off.
  3. Those 3 runs may as well be 10. I don't know about you guys but these two Red's games have been the most frustrating games to watch all year. What is with Wisconsin teams. Always get the fans excited with big wins over major opposition and then IMMEDIATELY proceed to play like garbage versus teams they should be able to beat. My Brewer Fever is at a season low.
  4. In the bottom of the 5th we better... SCORE SOME F****** RUNS!!!!!!! Or I am going to go insane.
  5. I know this is absolutely unrelated.... But since you can never have enough pitching, how's about we go get this guy: http://www.krisbenson.com/images/media/Kris-photos/new-images/kris02.jpg The added perk being we might start seeing this cheering him on in the stands! http://www.annabenson.net/gallery/gall2b.jpg
  6. Let's hope this is what Cub's fans look like tonight as they filter out of MP at game's end... http://www.thecubsuck.com/pageimages/fancrying.jpg http://www.thecubsuck.com/pageimages/cryinggirl.jpg
  7. http://www.universohq.com/quadrinhos/images/smoke_and_mirrors.jpg What we're going to need in order to pull off a win tonight.
  8. Kolb my man, start warming up!!!!!!!!!!
  9. You guys don't know what real suffering is - I once had to watch the Stars lose in 19 to the Lookouts. Their last 6 innings were pitched by their first baseman (Tom Nevers) and Hart, Hardy , Krynzel & co. couldn't touch him. Oh c'mon man, remember you're talking to Brewer fans here.
  10. So how many pitches will it take for Guerrero to tie it up?
  11. Who else knows after all these years of being a Brewers fan that there is positively, absolutely no friggin' way we win this game?
  12. Man that straight fastball right down the middle sure is a tough pitch to hit.
  13. And appaently the goal is to have Jeff Bennett throw his arm right off.
  14. I think some of these guys careers might never recover from this poor of a performance.
  15. Amazing. It only took 15 innings to get Bill Hall into a game in which we've scored zero runs.
  16. When we lose this one, they will have reached a new all-time low moment for me as a 27 year Brewer fan. I never thought it could get any worse.
  17. I know we don't have any Barry Bonds who hit each and every straight fast ball down the middle into the seats, but can't we just get someone to hit one once every couple of games or so? Maybe once a week?
  18. At least Angels fans get to see some offense every now and then. No...we are the unfortunate ones.
