I've never seen so many so-called contact hitters strike out so damn much.
  3. Brewer Fever
We get a guy to throw a 1 hit shutout and he can't even pick up a win. I think I'd force every hitter to use any bat but their own next game.
  4. Brewer Fever
Can these hitters do anything right?
  5. Brewer Fever
If they don't scrape across 1 stinkin run for this guy...I better read about how they trashed the visitor's clubhouse in the morning paper.
  6. Brewer Fever
Why did Daron Sutton just say that? That was the jinx if Ben loses this one.
  7. Brewer Fever
Ya sure get the feeling all it's gonna take is one measley run to win this thing.
  8. Brewer Fever
I wanna talk about the game as well. It seems no one is capable of recognizing my posts as lighthearted and sarcastic. Read through the thread, y'all have some mob mentality against the newbie all the sudden.
  9. Brewer Fever
I guess I now know why there are people who are fully aware this site exists but are turned off from posting here. Geesh.
  10. Brewer Fever
    Wow...what's your deal. It's a game...try and enjoy it.
  11. Brewer Fever
Apparently you are capable of sarasm yet incapable of recognizing it?
  12. Brewer Fever
What was harsh about what I posted. i'm just saying there are other diehards out there that don't have 1000+ posts on this site.
  13. Brewer Fever
Just because we don't post after every single pitch doesn't mean we've given up on them.
  14. Brewer Fever
Ben Grieve is gonna make his staunch supporters eat their words. Get me a guy who can put the damn ball in play. Wow-wee he has a nice obp, but when you need the guy to drive a pitch or make a tough catch he's a major liability.
  15. Brewer Fever
Are Brewer fans trying to top the "sweep suit jinx"? We got someone chalking up win 26 prematurely here, and a guy on the ESPN board posted "game over" as Kolb was trotting in.
  16. Brewer Fever
Please, please let it not take 4 years before we ever see this team get to 4 games over .500.
  17. Brewer Fever
Don't look now but the Brewers 21 losses are only 1 more than the N.L. low of 20. What a wide-open, whacky, wild N.L. race. That's 44-40 in their last 84 regular season games for the Crew. The Milwaukee Brewers...winners more often than losers for the last 283 days and counting!
  18. Brewer Fever
Great win...fun one to watch. Now let's win tomorrow with Sheets on the mound and get to 3 games over .500 after failing to do so in our first 7 tries this year. They seem primed to get a gem from Sheets and break outta their offensive funk. Score him some runs and get to that magic 3 games over mark.

RBI Jenkins 24 Hall 20 ABs Jenkins 171 Hall 71 Yeah, no reason to get the guy in there somewhere.
  20. Brewer Fever
Bill Hall sure woulda looked good batting in either the 2 or 3 hole there with the bases loaded. Man this is getting redundant. The prospects are gonna be 28 years old before they become regulars in the lineup. Don't wanna rush anyone. The Clarks and the Counsels are going to have to retire before any playing time opens up.
  21. Brewer Fever
Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure Corey Hart is a better hitter than Brady Clark. Clark is killing us in the 6 hole.
  22. Brewer Fever
Anyone else a little worried about that lineup the Pirates are throwing out there today? Only the 8 and 9 hole look weak. Everyone else is either hitting at or near .300 or is a power threat. Let's hope Sheets is on top of his game. I wonder what kind of effect the long rest will have on him. Damn, this division is tough.
  23. Brewer Fever
Awesome...just awesome! Shatters the previous record of 14 Ks with 18! Do game threads like this get archived? I sure hope so. I just wanted to get in a rare post to be a part of this game thread. Attendance at games Sheets starts at home outta really start skyrocketing. I'm so pissed I went last night instead of today. I always miss history by one day.
