I'm looking to buy the A-Rod Timber Rattlers/Foxes bobblehead that was given away in 2002. I've never seen it, but it exists according to bobblebums.

It ended up going for $52. Quite the bargain. I was outbid at the last second!

The generosity I've seen on this board has been inspiring, and I'd like to contribute a few bobbles and tickets to keep the cycle of generosity going. I have 2 extra tickets for the game on Saturday, March 21 Bucks vs Blazers game. It is Bob Dandridge bobblehead night. Tickets are in section 420, Row E. Good seats. Face value is $37 per ticket. Will sell the pair for $45. Might be able to throw in a parking pass too.

I found this on MLB Trade Rumors. I always liked Matty, but he never was the same after he hit Pedro Lopez. Reliever Matt Wise Retires By Drew Silva [March 6 at 6:22pm CST] More retirement news. According to Adam McCalvy of MLB.com, Matt Wise, who pitched last season for the Mets, has also decided to end his baseball career. The 33-year-old threw for several clubs this winter, but none offered a contract. He played in the majors for eight seasons and will finish with a 4.23 career ERA. (added link --1992)

I just heard back from the Timber Rattlers regarding the game at Miller Park. The tickets will not be general admission. The seating for the game is going to be assigned by the seat location that is on the tickets. Just want to give quick props to the Rattlers staff for the quick responses to my questions and the awesome customer service. They have been great.

I just sent him an email confirming the general admission seating. I'll post again when I hear back from him.

Here's a bit of info about the game my ticket rep just sent me. "It will be general admission but a few sections will be blocked off for our (Timber Rattlers) ticket package holders. Also, everything is general admission, so the first person to get there will get the front row, might want to let your friends know that." Seems a bit strange given that tickets purchased through the Brewers have seats/rows on them.

Uecker mentioned that Prince is in great shape, and C-Hart has put on 25 lbs and has not lost any speed. I like the sound of that. Does anyone think Corey can have a 30/30 season?

My prediction is 89-73. A month ago I thought they were going to be hovering around .500, but I love the Gagne and Looper signings. We might not have an amazing starting rotation or bullpen, but we certainly have depth now. An injury or 2 will no longer sink us.

I hardly think giving away 5000 tickets @ less than $10 per ticket is the work of a saint when he is making $10 mil per year. The boos were absolutely ridiculous though. In baseball, confidence is everything.
