  1. I'm shocked the Braves cut him to save 2.25 mil. He was the face of the franchise for years. I think the Braves owe him an opportunity.
  2. Tejada G AB R H TB 2B 3B HR RBI BB IBB SO SB CS AVG OBP SLG OPS GO/AO 51 207 29 75 113 20 0 6 32 6 1 13 2 2 .362 .388 .546 .934 1.18 Ramirez G AB R H TB 2B 3B HR RBI BB IBB SO SB CS AVG OBP SLG OPS GO/AO 49 188 34 65 106 17 0 8 25 20 2 33 8 4 .346 .417 .564 .981 0.78 I think you could make an argument for either guy. I personally like Tejada because he has a higher AVG with more ABs.
  3. Braun and Hoffman will make the team. I think Cam is having a better year than Prince, but there are a lot of quality outfielders. Yo doesn't have the stats.
  4. My AL Starters would be: C: V Martinez 1B: Morneau (Cabrera is a close 2nd) 2B: A. Hill SS: Bartlett 3B: Longoria OF: A. Jones OF: Crawford OF: Ichiro SP: Greinke RP: F. Francisco My NL Starters would be: C: Yadi Mo (I also like McCann, but I don't know enough about his D) 1B: Albert 2B: Sanchez (O Dog has better numbers, but Sanchez plays on Pitt) SS: Tejada 3B: Zimmerman OF: Ibanez OF: Beltran OF: J Upton SP: Santana RP: K Rod
  5. I think Rasmus and Bruce are the 2 best prospects in the Central. None of the Cubbies prospects seem that impressive.
  6. Ha ha ha. JSOnline, where brain cells go to die.
  7. I already have a Fang/Bernie. Thanks though.
  8. I'm good to see the Brewers are having the block parties again. I haven't attended in previous years, but I would like to check one out this year. Are they fun? Is it tough to get autos?
  9. That $4 fee per ticket sure is "convenient."
  10. Per TH http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/46714707.html
  11. Seems like a great idea to me. Do you they post the number during the game?
  12. Do they limit the number of Uecker seats an individual can purchase? If not, is that how people always have so many extras to sell?
  13. He certainly did, and it was awesome!
  14. I can't believe this is on the Cubs web page. This doesn't seem like the kind of thing they should be celebrating.
  15. No. Its been on ebay for months. There have been a few listed recently that have sold for $25ish.
  16. My mistake. For the sake of the contest we will count the entire Mets series.
  17. Let's make this prediction thread a bit more interesting. I'll give a bobble to the person who predicts the Crew's June record. The tie breaker will be the number of HRs hit by Brauny, Prince, and Cam. 4 @ FLA (2-2) 3 @ATL (2-1) 3 vs COL (2-1) 3 vs CWS (2-1) 3 @ CLE (2-1) 3 @ DET (1-2) 3 vs MIN (2-1) 3 vs SF (2-1) 3 vs NYM (1-2) 15 games at Miller Park 13 games on the road I'll go with 16-12.
  18. I would never buy anything for LOTF after I heard about their counterfeit jerseys. This just reinforces my decision not to do business with them.
  19. Soy is a vegetable that contains a lot of protein.
  20. For protein I eat a lot of beans and rice, and tofu. Morningstar, Boca, and Gardenburger have a lot of tasty, protein packed fake "meat."
  21. Sadly the Molitor bobble will feature him in a Twinkies uni.
