Dodgers acquired RHP Ricky Nolasco from the Marlins for RHPs Josh Wall, Steven Ames and Angel Sanchez. The Dodgers will cover the entire $5.7 million remaining on Nolasco's contract, and they'll get $197,000 in international cap space in return from Miami. I'm not sure the title should say prospects. Maybe it should just say "minor league players." This seems like a weak haul for a solid pitcher.

Is this supposed to be in blue? It's the first run he's given up since May.

It sounded like it could be from the Team America soundtrack.

A few days late... 1-1 @ Was 2 @ Was 3 vs NYM 3 vs Cin 4 @ Ari 3 vs Mia 4 vs Sd 3 @ Col 4 @ Chi 16-10

I like this Rickie Weeks a lot more than the Rickie Weeks who played April-May.

I have a lot of thoughts on this, but none of the language is appropriate for BF.

That looks absolutely miserable. Did anyone make it down on Friday for the Rhymesayers artists?

he favored the fastball. switched between 4 seam and 2 seam. the 4 seam got 2 groundouts. threw the changeup just once for a ball. good velocity. Mid 90s? Any breaking stuff?
-
How did Hellweg look in the 1st? Velocity?
-
Why did Vander Blue enter the draft? He was a junior, correct?
-
Why would someone want 3 of them?

I just turned on the game. How does Yo look tonight?

DFA Weeks /blue Edit: Lots of beer

I'm taking some friends to Summerfest and work didn't hook me up with freebies this year. Does anyone have cheap tickets they are looking to unload?
-
I'd trade anyone not named Braun, Segura, and Lucroy. I love GoGo, but I'd trade him for pitching.
-
I'm so bummed out right now. No AS game for GoGo either.
-
Please don't be hurt GoGo

Agreed! I have always been a Rickie fan (even though I was hard on him earlier in the season), glad he seems to have figured some things out. I think he deserves some more playing time at this point though. Not sure that a straight platoon is the best thing for him. Hard on him is one way to put it. If I was Weeks I wouldn't have opened any mail sent from you, and I would have hired someone to taste my food.

Great game, Mr. Hand. Aloha.

I missed it. Can anyone post a video?

I'm surprised they aren't giving K-Rod a shot at the save.

Wily is tossing a gem. Nice to see him pitch well.

Speculation only out of Detroit - Axford

Papa Grande was just DFAed. I imagine the Tigers are getting pretty desperate for some bullpen arms. Make the call, DM.
